Chapter 1-Aboarding

"Get the cargo on!"

The young rabbit stayed close to her mother,trying to avoid some of the ruthless men.Convincing herself she wasn't afraid,she breathed in deeply and let go of her mothers hand.

"If we want to get on we'll have to be early!"cried the rabbit.

Her mother looked down on her and smiled,walking toward the large ship.

"Alright Cream,alright.Let's go then,"she giggled silently.

The two slowly walked up the board walkway that lead up to the ship.Once they made it up,Cream gasped at the beautiful sparkling water.She held her hat on,hoping the winds wouldn't blow it off.Her mother took her by the hand and pulled her on.

"Isn't this great!"exclaimed Cream.

She smiled,"It sure is."

The rabbit looked around until she found who she was looking for.

"Mom!It's Vector!"she squealed,releasing her mom's hand.

Cream then ran toward the familiar face while her mom tagged along.When she made it to the large crocodile,Cream was already out of breath.

"Vector!"she yelped.

Vector,the crocodile,looked down on her and smile.

"My little sweet,what brings you here??"he bellowed.

Giggling,she pointed to her mom,"We're traveling along!"

Her mother looked over at Vector and smiled.

"Well hello Vector,"she greeted.

He took her hand in his,giving it a gentle kiss.

"Been a while hasn't it Ms.Vanilla?"he asked once he released her hand.

Ms.Vanilla,Cream's mother,nodded in agreement.

"It has.I'm very pleased to be traveling with you and the others,"she said happily.

Vector couldn't help but grin,"I feel the same.Oh please,let me take you to your room."

Ms.Vanilla smiled sweetly,"That would be lovely."

Cream was busy looking around the ship before she noticed her mother starting to leave.Catching up to her,she grabbed apart of her mother's dress.

"Where are you going?"she asked in concern.

Ms.Vanilla giggled,"Stay here sweetie.Vector is just showing me to our room.How about you stay here and explore a bit?"

Cream gasped and nodded eagerly.

"Ok!"

So Ms.Vanilla kissed Cream's forehead and went off with Vector.With a giggle or two,Cream took off to explore the ship.She kept her hat on,glancing at the sea's waters once in a while.She searched around high and low,crawling under places and over places.Just as she was looking in an empty barrel,she heard a loud whistle.Cream pulled her head back and looked around ship,wondering who did it.It took a minute before Cream realized the pirates would be arriving soon.

Cream's excitement was hard to contain,ever since she was four she wanted to be a pirate.She squealed inwardly when she predicted that the captain arrived.Cream stood behind the barrel,watching as the pirates came aboard.They all looked mean,especially the echidna.She narrowed her eyes when she saw a fox aboard.But he didn't look old,he looked about her age,maybe slightly older.
