I opened my eyes because I heard a bang of something that had just dropped.

"You're finally awake, or I woke you up? hehe" I heard Chael said as I open my eyes. I hurriedly turned my back to him to check if I have a gound or a dirt in the face. And when I'm finally sure that my face is neat I slowly faced him. He is sitting at the chair in front of my bed where he sat earlier with his usual wide smile that shows all of his white teeth. I gave him a weak smile and then I sat on my bed. I can't wash away the thought of him having a girlfriend and at the same time being friendly to me. Siguro dahil may kasalanan siya kaya siya mabait sakin?Oo ayon lang yon. Argh I hate this. Ngayon ko lang to naramdaman.

"Okay ka lang ?" He asked

"O-o naman.Hmm so you're here, tapos na ba klase?" I asked him. Then I checked my phone to know what time is it. It's already 12:15 and it's lunch break.

"Tapos na second,third and fourth subjects nagrecess na rin.Sarap nang tulog mo kaninang recess kaya dina kita ginising for a brunch." He said. So he's here rin kanina.He saw my sleeping face. The hell is that but I didn't react.

"Gutom kana?" He asked and before I could answer we both heard my stomach growling.So embarrassing but we just laughed about it.

"Gutom ka na nga. Hindi mo kasi kinain yung biscuit e,hindi ka rin uminom ng tubig ko wala naman akong rabies e" sabi nito sabay abot ng isang lunch bag sa akin.

"No, you can just buy me if it's okay with you or I can ask my friend to buy me a lunch.That's yours so you should eat that."tanggi ko

"Dumaan dito si yung kaibigan mo kanina, tinanong kung okay ka na raw ba at kung ibibili kadaw nya ng pagkain, sabi ko wag na dahil ibibigay ko to sayo. Itong biscuit nalang kakainin ko.Umalis rin sya agad dahil may aasikasuhin daw. Hindi rin kita mabibilhan kasi anlakas ng ulan sa labas." Mahaba niyang pagpapaliwanag.

"Okay I'll eat it but in one condition"

"Ano 'yon? Bata pa po ako" he said and covered his body. I laughed because of it.I really enjoyed his company even though we just met earlier.

"Hahahahaha sira, my condition is that we'll eat your food half half" he nodded.

I told him to eat it first because it's his food after all pero ayaw niya.His food is very delicious that's why I enjoyed it. Pagkatapos ko ito makakalahati ay inoffer ko na ito sa kanya at tinanggap nya naman.

"Ahm I already used the ah-the spoon and fork,ah is it okay for you to use it? I have a tissue here wait, I'm healthy and i don't have any disease." I said awkwardly

"Huwag na okay na 'to, pigil niya sa pag kuha ko ng tissue sa bag." Then he started eating.Grabe wala syang arte knowing na na kanina lang kami nagka kilala.

"The food is really good" I said to have a topic while he is still eating.

"Hmm naman! mama ko nagluto e" he said while munching his food. A few minutes later he's finished.

"Ito nga pala yung gamot mo bigay ng nurse pagtapos mo raw kumain inumin mo. Sige na inom ka na rito sa tubig ko" He gave it to me then once again offered his tumbler.

"But the thought that you're girlfriend gave that to you with that note is stopping me to drink that HA HA" sabi ko out of the blue.
He got shocked of my sudden burst out, and me too was shocked of what I just said.

"Uhm w-w-w-what i mean is that ahm you know, if I'm your girlfriend I would be mad if you're giving the one gave to to a random girl." I explained stuttering.

"HAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" he laughed and laughed for an unknown reason.

"Stop that, I'm getting annoyed" I said to him, I crossed my arms at sinimangutan ko sya.

"Okay okay hahahha muka kanang nangangailangan e, HAHAHA nakakatawa kasi yung reason mo. Siguro nakita mo yung note no? Yung sweet note?May note na naman si mama no? Sorry hindi ko natanggal kanina. Wala akong girlfriend, mahilig lang talaga si mama maglagay ng notes. Minsan sa food,minsan sa tumbler ko.Si MA.MA lang yon" He said and that made me form my mouth in a big O.

It's her mom after all? I felt relieved. And I don't know why is that?
Siguro sobrang pula ko na ngayon dahil sa sobrang hiya. Muka lang naman akong jealous girlfriend kanina for my sudden burst out. When in fact we've just met!! What the hell is wrong with me?

To stop my embarrassment I take my meds and drink water from his tumbler.Then I gave it back to him and murmured my thanks.

"Sa'yo na muna yan baka uhawin ka mamaya." He said as he put the tumbler back on the top of my bedside table. He's hiding a smile on his face. Kahit ilang oras palang kaming mag kakilala ay ang gaan na talaga ng loob ko sa kanya. At makulit na rin siya feeling ko comfortable na rin siya sakin.

A minute later the bell rang which means last subject na and 2:30 is uwian na tumayo na si Chael. Ako naman ay iniisip kung kaya ko naman siguro lakarin mamaya papunta sa parking lot kahit mas namaga na lalo yung paa ko.

"Sige balik na ko sa room, antayin mo ako rito mamaya pagka-uwian ha" he said before he gets out of the infirmary. I just nodded, still embarrassed of what happened earlier. Pero may mas embarrassing pa pala dahil bago sya tuluyang mawala sa paningin ko ay may mapang-asar pa siyang sinigaw na nagpahinto sa akin.Mabuti nalang at walang tao sa paligid dahil class hours na.

"Huwag ka ng mag selos sa tumatawag saking baby, si mama lang iyon"
