"it's no use! i can't find anything on him." yukiko cried, clicking on the next button of the search engine, her nails scratching the finger pad.

katsuki laid back on the bed, his hair pushed back by a headband while still dressed in his pajamas, "maybe he's not documented." he sat up, sitting beside her, his knee brushing hers.

yukiko sighed, "i'm never gonna find him. this was a dumb search mission."

katsuki reached his arm around her waist, clicking on the pad, "you'll find him. let me see." he scrolled the page down, reading each link.

yukiko groaned, leaning back on his arm.

"sit up, dumbass." he nudged her, "look, there's an article here from a year ago." he clicked on the link

yukiko read the title, "hero agency lawyer goes missing. he's missing?"

katsuki clenched his jaw, "son of a bitch."

"there's no other news." yukiko whispered, feeling herself drain, "is this a joke? i was having the time of my life at UA while my dad was kidnapped behind the scenes?"

katsuki wrapped his arms around her, tucking her head under his chin, "there isn't any information about it, either." he continued to read over the article, "there wasn't even a big investigation."

sighing, yukiko laid back on the bed, "so, i don't have a dad, apparently."

katsuki exited out of the window, shutting the laptop, "he's probably still out there, you never know."

she looked at him, "if he was still out there, do you think that they would call off the investigation so quickly?" she mumbled, laying on her stomach and buried her face into the pillow. "just leave me alone to die."

"you're not dying, dumbass." katsuki cursed, nudging her before resting his hand on her back, "can't you ask that detective guy? uh, the guy that was at the USJ," he snapped his fingers as he racked his brain.

"detective tsukauchi?"

"how do you know his name? you were unconscious."

"met him during my internship. he was getting more information about shigaraki." she shrugged, "i don't think he'd know much, but it can't hurt to ask."

"let's head there now, then." katsuki stood up, pulling on a jacket.

yukiko groaned, sitting up, "pass me a jacket."

katsuki chucked one over her head, chuckling, "we gotta hurry up before they close for the night."

yukiko pulled on the jacket, following katsuki out of his room and down the steps.

"where are you two going?"

"police station."

"what?" mitsuki called, "for what?"

yukiko turned to mitsuki, "information on my dad. apparently, he's missing." she shrugged.

katsuki grabbed her hand, dragging her to the door, "we'll be back late."
