This is what they called, Devere's Fever!"

"A Filipina artist, actress and model smashed up the YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, name it all. Her name is a trending worldwide, netizens even gave her a names, 'Exquisite Nady' and 'Severe Devere'."

"Wooow. Pinakyaw talaga? Grabe Nady, sikat na sikat ka na! Maihahambing ka na kina Ariana at Lady Gaga!" Masayang sabi ni Tita Say, my Manager.

Kailanma'y ayaw kong ikinokompara.

Hilaw ang naging ngiti ko sa kanya, nasa TV parin nakasentro ang aking paningin.

I don't need to be popular, I just wanna make music, I wanna sing, act and ofcourse, the income are bonus.

"Hindi dapat ipinagbili nang ASI ang lahat nang album ko Tita Say. How about the other people who wants to buy them? Who wants to listen to my music?" Napailing ako.

In fact, aanhin naman nang lalaking iyon ang ganu'n kadaming album? Each album consists the same music. Pare-pareho, walang iba.

"Aba'y mabuti na rin ito Nady! Naku, naku ikaw talagang bata ka! Showbiz ang pinasok mo hija, paunahan kung paunahan. 'Tsaka sino ba namang hindi mahuhumaling sa ganda mong 'yan? Aba'y kung naging lalaki ako at maraming pera? Gagawin ko rin ang ginawa nang Black na iyon." Pangangaral ni Tita Say.

And that's the thing I don't want in Showbusiness.

Kung may mukha ka, bebenta ka. Sisikat ka hindi dahil sa mga gawa mo kundi sa pisikal na anyo. Ang henerasyon ngayon, hindi nasusukat sa mga musika mo ang pagiging sikat kundi sa ganda nang iyong pisikal na anyo. Iilan na lamang ang nakaka-appreciate sa musika na hindi tumitingin sa kagandahang anyo nang artista.

Like, bakit? Mabebenta ba ang mukha? Nakaka-enjoy ba ang mukha? Kasing ganda ba nang musika ang mukha? I just don't get them, people tend to support artists with a pretty face even if, no offense meant, their music aren't that great! Faces aren't all!

"Alam ko po iyan, Tita. Ngunit iba ho ang pananaw ko sa mga pananaw niyo." Malumanay kong sagot kasabay nang paumanhing ngiti.

Napailing na lamang si Tita kasabay ngiti na animo'y natutuwa sa mga pinagsasabi ko.

"Oh siya, siya. Maghanda ka na. Aalis ka hindi ba?" Turan niya.

Napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Tita.

"Opo, Tita. Bibisitahin ko lang po ang bahay-ampunan. Sa Blessed po!" Hindi matanggal ang ngiti ko habang nagsasalita.

Ilang buwan din akong 'di nakabisita sa Blessed!
