How am I not dead....how...

Luz uncovered her face, surprised to see the cats avoiding her entirely.

She stood back on her paws, watching the cats grab others, possibly their own friends, well that's what Luz thought.

They were so in sync and organized. Cats surrounding the monster, cats in the monster, cats everywhere! It was almost like they were a team.

She never believed that cats, especially collarless cats, would ever work together.

It was beautiful and breath-taking.

That's what I want to be apart of...practically a family...

She nearly dozed off, taking notice that the kittypets still remained in the interior. She came up to the conclusion they only wanted to get their friends, not save her!

Why not her and the others, why just the collarless cats, is this an anti-kittypet thing.

Altough Luz couldn't think of that. All she thought was that she needed to follow them.

"Wait!" Luz shrieked, jumping out of the monster, paw fowards.

She landed on the ground right as the cats left, they were frantic about it as well.

All she could see left was a gray she-cat looking staring at her oddly before being scared off.

Luz looked confused, "Wait!" She yelped, reaching towards the group.

Paw by paw, she ran into the forest without a thought, keeping track of the single sign of gray fur.

The leaves waved as the dark, grim clouds blew above her.

Mice curled into their bushes as hawks stared down, following her in the dark.

She didn't take a glance of the wild, not at all, she just kept her eyes on the tail of gray.

Unfourtunately, that won't fuel her for long. The dull fur would slowly fade away to be unseen, leaving Luz stuck, studying the ground.

Just then she realizes how far out she was, fear crumbling onto her spine.

No no no....mami is gonna kill me...

She stared at every corner, every tree, every patch of flowers but it all seemed the same. No difference, pure equality.

Luz began to wonder if she'll ever get home, disturbing thoughts running around her head.

The least thing she wanted was to be completely lost, but she forgot the directions she ran from.

Luz managed to calm herself down, laying in the nearby bush.

Yeah, to refresh my head, maybe I'll have luck tomorrow...

She noted to herself, trying to sleep as her bushy tail curled to her snout.

Sounds of crows calling, twigs crackling, prey squeaking and hollering. Luz tried to block out the ambiance of the forest as much as possible as she finally closes her eyes.
