Rayla: *wakes up, nausea waves over her* Aghhhh.
Callum: *eyes still closed* You okay, Honey?
Rayla: I-I don't feel so good.
Callum: *opens eyes and shoots into action* Oh no, this is the 3rd time this week! Where does it hurt?
Rayla: *eyes closed* Everywhere. Everywhere, I just feel sick.
Callum: Okay, Okay. It's fine, It's fine. Just Relax, RELAX!
Rayla: You know, YOU should probably relax, Callum. I'm fine, its probably just the stomach bug Ezran had.
Callum: I'll be right back with Opeli. Okay?
Rayla: *nods*
(Callum rushes out of room and minute later returns with Opeli)
Opeli: Rayla, before I do anything else, how many jelly tarts have you been eating a day?
Rayla:
Rayla: Seriously?
Opeli: Okay, Okay, just checking. *sits down next to her* Do you feel like you're going to throw up?
Rayla: *weakly* Kind of.
Opeli: Okay, I've got a hunch, but I'll need to check some other stuff first. (takes medical instruments out of her bag and checks Rayla's heartbeat and does some other stuff (I ain't a doctor so, um, there's that. XD))
Opeli: My hunch was spot on. Rayla, *looks up into her face, smiling* You're going to have a baby.
Rayla: *splutters* W-what?!
Callum: *wide eyes* Rayla's- what?!
Opeli: Yep. *puts stuff back in bag. Looks into back* I can get you some medicine I'll be right back. *walks out*
Callum: Rayla! You're going to have a kid!
Rayla: *laughs* I know. I heard Opeli.
Callum: But I don't think you're processing it! Rayla!
Rayla: Oh good gosh, Callum.
Callum: *sits on bed next to her. Realization* Rayla, we're going to be parents?
Rayla: *rolls eyes* Yes, Callum. When you have a baby, that usually means you become a parent.
Callum: *smiles* Yeah, sure.
. . .
Rayla: But does this mean that I'll feel like THIS the entire time?
Callum: *laughs* For the next six or seven months, yeah.
Rayla: Ugh.
Callum: It'll be worth it. *grins* We'll be parents! *kisses her hand*
Rayla: *laughs. Closes eyes* Runaan is going to kill you.
Callum: *rolls* He'll be fine.
(Later that evening at dinner, they are all sitting in Ezran's room. Rayla is wrapped in a blanket)
Claudia: *playfully* Okay, you two, why are we here?
Callum: Right! Uh *clasps hands* So me and Rayla have some big news.
Ezran: If you're getting divorced, I'm going to break something.
Rayla: Oh, Shut up, Ezran. Nothing like that.
Soren: Thennnnn what?
Callum: Well *smiles* Rayla is going to have a baby.
Opeli: *grins*
Claudia: *shrieks* WHAAAAATTT!?!?!!? YOU GUYS!!!
Soren: LITTLE CALLUMS AND RAYLAS!!!!!
Ezran: IMMA BE AN UNCLE!!!!
Callum: *laughs* I'm glad you're taking it like this.
Ezran: Taking it like this!! Dude! We gonna stay up till midnight!
Opeli: No. Callum and Rayla are not. Rayla is having a kid and Callum goes wherever Rayla does, so there's that.
Claudia: Right. Of course. But seriously, this, my peeps, is amazing!! <3
Rayla: *leans on Callum's shoulder*
Callum: Let's get you to bed. *helps her up*
Rayla: I can WALK.
Callum: I know you can. I just don't want you pushing yourself. Oh, and you're going to sleep in.
Rayla: No. I'm not.
Callum: Hm. Okay.
THE NEXT DAY . . .
Callum: *wakes up. Sees Rayla is gone.* Rayla . . . *goes to the window and sees her practicing outside* Rayla.
(Callum goes out to Courtyard)
Callum: Rayla, what are you doing?
Rayla: *panting, but stops and puts down sword* Training. Just like I do, every morning.
Callum: Um, no. You're going to come inside and sleep, okay?
Rayla: No, Callum, I'm fine.
Callum: Please? I don't want you to get hurt.
Rayla: But, Callum, I feel fine this morning.
Callum: *gives her look*
Rayla: . . . fine. *walks inside with him*
Callum: Listen, I just don't want you to get hurt.
Rayla: I'm not going to kill myself.
Callum: *stokes her hair* I know, but I still want you to chillax.
Rayla: *rolls eyes* You're adorable but who made you my health adviser?
Callum: I did. *grins*
