Super Smash Bros 4: Twisted Fate (Book 1) [COMPLETE]

Chapter Twenty Nine: Blast to the Past-Mewtwo

        Again, Mario and Snake were being whipped around in space-time continuum.  They bumped into everything possible, even each other.  Snake tried to swear, but his words all got mixed up in space and time.  They just had to wait until they are teleported.  Then, the two were being gravitated toward a hole in the continuum.  They were being brought to their next timeline.  Soon, they went through.

        Then, they both hit cold hard, floor.  It scraped them up.

        "Ugh!" Mario groaned.  "Can't we land a-on pillows or something."

        They both got up.  Snake and Mario found themselves in a small cave.  They were at the entrance. The cave seemed brown on the inside.  Rocks lay across the wall, ground, and every other possible area in the cave.  But, an area in the middle seemed to be cleared out, but they didn't know why.

        Suddenly, there was a noise.  A loud wind noise.  It came from everywhere and seemed to be gravitating toward the middle.  Mario and Snake were struggling to not be blown around.  Then, the wind stopped...and Mewtwo appeared in the middle.  He was levitating with his legs crossed like a Monk.

        "What the hell!?" Snake yelled.  Mario had forgotten that Snake had never seen Mewtwo before. They were never in the same game.  Mario walked up slowly to the Pokemon.  But, wen it got nearer, Mewtwo jumped up and landed on the ground.  He seemed intimidated.

        Mario slowly backed up.  "It's OK.  It's OK," he repeated.  Then, Mewtwo dissapeared.  Mario and Snake became confused.  Until he appeared behind the heroes.  Mario and Snake jolted back. Mewtwo got in a battle-ready position.

        "Mewtwo!" Mewtwo exclaimed, strict and firm.

        "It thinks we're a-intruders," Mario said to Snake.  "We're a-going to have to fight him."

        "My pleasure," Snake responded with gritted teeth.  So, the battle was on.

        Snake charged at the Pokemon.  He was about to punch, but Mewtwo used Confusion on him. Snake whirled around and landed on the ground.  Mario ran up to Mewtwo.  They interlocked in some hand-to-hand combat.  However, in this, Mewtwo grabbed Mario and threw him across the cave.  Mario landed on the back wall of the cave.  Then, just for extra measure, Mewtwo threw a Shadow Ball at Mario.  This hurt him even more.

        "That's it, you dick!" Snake yelled out.  He got up and was right in front of Mewtwo.  Then, Snake tripped the Pokemon.  Mewtwo fell and face planted on the ground.  As Mewtwo was getting up, Snake put a land mine behind Mewtwo.  When the Pokemon got up, he stepped on the mine and fell a bit back.  Snake just laughed.  But soon, Mewtwo appeared behind Snake and kicked him.  Snake fell right next to Mario on the back cave wall.

        "This guy's impossible," Snake admitted.  "There's no defeating him."

        Within seconds, Snake and Mario found Mewtwo looming over them.  That's when Mario got an idea.  He pulled out his yellow cape and twirled Mewtwo around with it.  Before the Pokemon could turn back, a torrent of water from the F.L.U.D.D. pushed Mewtwo back.  Then, just as the Pokemon was finally able to turn around, he saw a projectile flying toward him.  Mewtwo blocked and the projectile landed in front of him.  Mewtwo laughed.  However, Mewtwo did not know that Snake's arsenal contained a grenade, which is what the projectile was.  It exploded and Mewtwo was found lying on teh ground.

        Snake and Mario ran up to him.  Mewtwo lay face down on the hard, cave floor.  The two heroes just waited for a response.  Then, he began to move.  Mario and Snake got in battle ready positions. Then, Mewtwo shot up.  But, he wasn't fighting.  Mewtwo saluted to Mario.  He was now on their side.

        "Good," Mario said to himself.  Then, he took out the time machine.  There was a time limit on it, which he wondered what it was.  He realized though, that it was the amount of time he had to return the heroes in their places or timelines would be changed.  It wasn't much time, either.

        "Come a-on," Mario said as they gathered around.  "We have to get one more person."  Then, they were off.

Fun fact: I've never played Super Smash Bros Melee. All of the information on Mewtwo I have acquired from here was solely from the internet.
