Your eyes a flutter open at the faded voice, you groan low holding on the thick blanket that gave you warmth holding it close to your face
looking around your eyes landed on the empty mug and a lot of empty cans on the coffee table in front of you "Oh...I slept on the couch !" Rubbing your eyes you glanced at the window, the sun still hasn't come up
"what time is it ? Where's my phone ?" Tapping your pocket you found nothing, trying to push your body up made you freeze, the faint ,almost to non existent smell of alcohol confused you, but something prevented you from moving a muscle, was it fear ?
Your hand rested on a warm and sturdy chest ,the soft heartbeats were felt against your palm "E-Eh ! Eiji !" Your eyes widened seeing the young male sleeping peacefully
his arms wrapped gently around your waist holding you close ,seeing your phone on the coffee table you reached out for it
"ugnn" he groans taking a deep breath tightening his grip on you
"damn it" you were pulled back, trying your best not to wake him as you tried pushing his arms away "got it" you grinned holding your phone on your hand "4:35 am" you mumbled low "3 miss calls from Amy...and 26 from...Ray"
A hand lowered your phone before you managed to call her back "Y-Y/N ! You're awake ?" He smiled resting the phone on his chest, screen down
"yeah... sorry I fell asleep and got you stuck !" Giving a giggle
"it's okay, I don't mind" patting your head Eiji smiled back
His grip loses and you took that change to stretch out "where are you going ?" Eiji questioned when you got up from the couch
"I'm going to check on Amy" you looked back at him with a smile pointing towards the bedroom
"she's not home yet" he said pointing at the front door
"n-not home ? It's already morning ! Where could she be ? I should call her" opening your lock screen your brows tugged together concerned about her
"Does it scare you ? Being alone ?" Eiji suddenly mumbled
"h-huh ? I'm not alone" Your grip tightened on the phone
"but you are, everyone around you has someone else more important ,you're simply not worth their time" his empty words hit close to home for you
"what...w-what are you talking about ! I have Amy !" Your brows tugged trying your best to fake a laugh
"what will happen when she leaves you behind ?!" He glances around the room with a shrug
You couldn't answer him, his words left you speechless ,biting your lips as your finger tapped the lit screen you pressed on her name, the faint sound of a ringtone reached your ears "huh !" Your head turned towards the apartment front door
*CLICK*
The door creeped open "AMY !!" You breathed out the held breath when she stepped inside "what the hell is wrong with you ? Coming home at this hour ?" Almost running into her arms you scolded
"b-but I always come home at this hour when I'm with friends!" Brushing the back of your head she lifted your face to get a better look at you
"a-are you okay ?" Seeing you on the verge of tears she questioned ,burying your face into her collarbone your wrapped your arms around her in a tight hug
"s-sorry ! I didn't mean to scare you like this ! You never minded me getting home late" She hugged back reassuring you
"How are your other friends Amy ?" Eiji smiled standing in front of her
