Ten years post the ending of Broken Home
***

FP watched Alice in awe while she curled her hair. She caught him from his reflection and smiled. "You're staring."

"I'm admiring," FP pushed his shoulder off of the doorframe. "Can't I adore you?" He walked up behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders. He still looked at her through the mirror. "You look beautiful, honey."

"Thank you," Her smile grew bigger. "I'm excited for today. But thinking about it makes me feel old."

"Hey, we're only forty three. We're not that old."

"Our baby boy is getting married today. He's all grown up."

"Well he is twenty six." FP pointed out. "And he found himself a nice man. It's about time they get hitched. Those two were made for each other."

"I know. I know." Alice tilted her head up to look at him. "I just wish the kids stayed babies a little longer."

"I know how you feel," FP leaned down to peck a kiss on her lips. "But look on the bright side. We get to experience this for the first time since our wedding and it's for our boy."

"Jellybean and Jackie looked adorable as the flower girls." Alice smiled at the memory. "And Fred made a hell good of a best man."

"His speech was great, but Charles gave an amazing toast."

"It was so heartwarming."

"The kids all made amazing mini bridesmaids and groomsmen."

"It was perfect."

"Now it's time to make it perfect for Charlie."

"Daddy!" FP could hear their two youngest yell.

"I have been summoned," FP pecked another kiss on her lips before exiting. Alice got back to what she was doing.

FP knocked on Jellybean and Jackie's door. "Girls? What's up?"

Jellybean yanked the door open. "It's Jackie."

"Nuh uh, it's you." The ten year old snarled at her.

"Okay, okay, what happened?" FP cut their argument short.

"She's wearing my shoes!"

"These are mine. They just look alike."

"Girls, can we just figure this out quick. We need to get to the church very soon for your brother's wedding."

"You're not even dressed yet." Jughead chimed in as he came into the upstairs hall.

"I will be in a moment."

"Can you help me with this stupid tie first?"

"I need to get dressed," FP jeered.

"Please? What kind of best man would I be without my tie?"

"I've got you," FP held his hand out for the tie. Jughead handed it to him and the man began to tie it around his neck. "And...there. You look sharp."
