CHAPTER.15
ELEANOR

"May house party daw si Adrienne later. Punta ka?" Nine asked me.

It's the time of the year when Adrienne invites almost everyone in the University who are in Senior Highschool and College for her house party. Adrienne is the most famous student in our batch, she's a soccer play, too like her little sister na si Yanna.

Every year niya ginagawa 'yon after ng big soccer match niya with other schools. Mukhang nanalo nanaman sila ngayong year. I have never gone to a school party kahit ilang beses niya akong ayain. I always knew that my mother wouldn't let me kaya I don't even try.

"For sure, hindi." diin na sagot ko.

She gasped, "What? It's our last year in Highschool! We should go!" she whined.

"Do you think mom is going to let me?" I asked her, sarcastically.

"Who said you're going to ask her?" sagot niya pa. "Tumakas ka na lang!"

Hindi naman ako nainform na may lahi palang demonyo 'tong kaibigan ko.

My eyebrows furrowed, "Baliw! I'm a good girl na and I won't takas na ulit."

It's been a while since I ran away from home, I haven't talked to my mom in a while kaya wala ako masyadong iniisip. I feel at ease nowadays and it's kinda weird. But, it was still stressful. Lagi naman but this time I managed to do all my works without crying. I call that growth.

"Pero last year na natin! Ano?! Forever ka na lang sa bahay? Rapunzel ka, girl?"

I chuckled at her, "For your information, Rapunzel was kidnapped." I corrected. "And madami pa akong gagawin, malapit na yung exams and yung golden event."

Kumunot ang noo niya, "Yung exams, next next week pa. This party is just tonight! We can't miss it, okay?"

From the last years I wouldn't even consider going to this party even if Addy forced me to. Nine has a point, last year ko na dito. Who knows baka hindi ako dito mag-college and I won't be able to do this stuff with my highschool friends.

"Fine. I'll ask my dad." I said, giving in.

"Yay!" She cheered. "Yes, ask your dad. I think he's really cool,"

After chit-chatting with Nine near the staircase, I could already see Yanna, Aliyah, Sam and Rory sa hallways. I wondered why Cali wasn't around.

"Hey, ate Eli!" sinalubong ako ng yakap ni Yanna.

"Congrats sa ate mo! Pamilya talaga kayo ng mga soccer player 'no?" I congratulated her at bumeso sa magkabilang pisngi niya.

"Thank you," sabi niya. "Walwalan tonight? G ka na ngayong year?" she asked, referring to the highschool party.

"Hoy! That's a senior highschool party! Madaming nag-iinuman roon." I warned her.

"Yeah, I know. But, my sister owns that party." she answered. "Punta ka, ha. 'Di kasi pwede 'to si Rory kasi baby pa lang siya."

"Anong baby?!" bulyaw ni Rory.
