"What just happened," I say out loud to Mr. Snugglesworth, who is laying on the clean clothes. I shoe him off as I finish putting the clothes away, and then I go out and wake up Lissa because if she sleeps any longer, she won't go to bed later tonight.

"You're the cat, so jump on her," turning to Mr. Snugglesworth, who is just sitting on the coffee table. "Fine, I guess I'll wake her up. Lissa. OH LISSSAAAA, IT'S TIME TO GET UP!" Trowing the blanket off and tossing it to the floor.

"I hate you," she said, growing and stretching. "What time is it?"

"Almost four. but when you hear this, you'll be up in no time," I said, moving Lissa's legs onto my mine. "So while you were sleeping, I did some laundry, Tyler called, and Jackson dropped-"

"Whoa hold up, Tyler called you? When? What about?" Sitting up more alert than before, Lissa crosses her legs and puts her elbows on them so that her head in her hands.

"About ten minutes ago, and it was about if I was coming to work today. I told him that I was going to finish the day here and then come in tomorrow. But I do have to get some work done, and I bet you do to since we wasted a day, but it was so worth it," I say, getting up to look in the fridge. "So we have nothing to eat, or if we do, we have to cook it. And I, for one, don't want to."

"We can order in because I don't want to go out. Wow, we sound lazy." getting up, Lissa joins me in the kitchen. "Wow, we sound so bad right now. "

"You're right, so what do we want to do," I say, grabbing water.

"Order in." We both say.

Within thirty minutes, we have our dinner that consists of pizza and wings. We are both sitting around our table with plates and our work spread out.

Lissa and I speculated how tomorrow is going to go. I say that it's going to end up with Tyler, and I are just ignoring each other for the first part of the day and then having this awkward meeting. Lissa thinks that we are going to get right into it and then make eyes at each other for the rest of the day.

"Yeah, right, I think that there might be a problem with that," I say as I am taking my plate to the sink. "Tyler has a girlfriend, plus I'm not interested in anyone and especially my boss." Sitting back down, I went back to work.

"He does nooottt. Well, there goes my ship." Lissa said with a sigh. Looking up, I can't tell if she's joking or not.

"Your ship? You barely meet the man, and besides, after what Rick did, I don't think that I could put myself out there soon. I mean, one day I know but maybe at a let time."

"Hey, what he did was unforgivable, and he deserves to rot in hell. But you deserve better a whole lot better than him," she said, looking at me in the eye.

I can tell that she means it and it's true. It' bad enough that my ex-fiancé slept with two of my cousins plus one of my past friends and then pinned it on how he can't be pinned down by one person three months before the wedding.

"Screw him, and whatever karma he's getting is going to be a bitch to him."

"Amen," Lissa says, "On a happy note, let's end the work and go watch some shows because being an adult sucks at the moment, and just don't want to  work anymore."

"Same," I say, getting up from the table.

We both move our stuff off the table to our rooms and meet back out in the living room. Knowing that most likely we are going to fall asleep, I set the alarm on my phone, so we don't have bad backs in the morning.
