Calling the one person that will set things right. It might have been a bad thing, but you know what I shouldn't have to call them in the first place. Not knowing what time they are going to be here, I sit and wait. Going into the kitchen, I see that there are some leftovers, but I'm not really in the mood for them. I went back out to find that they have arrived.

"How bad is it?"

"Well, I called you, didn't I?"

"Fair enough." Taking off her sunglasses, I see that age has done her well. It's known that this one person that can get them acting like grown adults.

"Well, where are they?" she says as I take her peruse and coat.

"In his office. Oh, and good luck," I say, but not before I heard shouting and the door slam.

I was about to get back to work when Hellen popped her head out and asked for a couple of towels and a big bowl of water. Not asking why she needed them, I went up at got hem for her. Knocking on the door, I hear a faint, "Come in."

Walking in, I see that the two frat boys are sitting on the couch with their heads in trash cans. Looking up, Tyler says something incoherent.

"-nd you are lucky she called me and not your father. He would've killed you. Both of you," Pinching her nose. Hellen turns around and sees me. "Finally, someone that I can rely on here. Thank you for this."

"No problem. I'll be in my office if you need me."

"Not to mention your first day working here-"

I walked out to my desk and ordered a salad just because I needed something to eat. As I look at the time, it's almost four, and I'm behind on my work now I'll have to stay most of the night to finish it. I texted Lissa saying that I'm going to be late and that she shouldn't wait up for me.

By the time my salad arrived, I had got some of my paperwork done, but I still have to get Tyler's approval on some. And I have to set some meetings, but of course, I would have to go and find out what his schedule is first before I do anything. Hellen walked out with an exhausted look on her face.

"Can you call a cab, please? I have to take them home and hope that I can get them to eat something."

"Yeah, I'll call down. Good luck with that, and I'll finish up here."

"You better not stay here all night."

"I'll try," I say as I reach for the phone.

"Oh, I also called a cleaning crew for the mess and the smell. Just charge it to Tyler's card."

"Okay, I'll stay here after they leave and lock up."

"And thank you again for calling me dear his father with sin both of them."

"About that, should this happen to call again, I call you."

"Oh, don't worry that there won't be again. I made sure of it," Hellen said, making her way back in the office.

Hellen was one of the first people that I met when I started working here. She would show me around and how to get everything set up. I wasn't surprised that was Tyler's mom at all. Knowing that she gave me her phone number just in case anything like this happened.

I would say that I'm surprised but the first time I meet him was not when he. I meet him at last year's Christmas party, but he was so drunk that he thought that it was Halloween and a holiday that he made up. The funny thing is that he made a pass at me and he doesn't remember it.

Bring up the past would only hurt the present.

Am I surprised that he is the new CEO? Not really, I just thought that he would be more an adult about it. You can only be a child for so long. Yet you can still be a kid at heart, but other than that, I feel like just taking more responsibility would be needed.

A door opening got me out of my thoughts. I look up, and I see that Hellen is coming out with both of the boys.

"The cab pulled up and is waiting. Also, the cleaning guys are almost here," I said to Hellen.

"Thank you once more. Now you two,' she says turning to them, "I will make sure that you get in that cab, but if I find out that you didn't make it home. Well, we will be having a different conversation that will include both of your fathers and your mother, Tom."

Knowing that I would have to be here for another hour or so, I take off my heels and put on the slippers that I have on my desk. A little later, I got a call saying that the cleaning guys are here and asking if I'm ready for them. I said, yes. Four guys came up all in dark blue shirts and blue jeans; they looked more like painters.

"Where is the mess ma'am," said one of them.

"In the office there and when it's done, can you just send the bill here, please?"

"Of course. Do you mind if we have music going?"

"No, not at all," I said, going back to my work.

About two hours later, I hear the music stop, and hoping that they're finishing up, I start to get my stuff ready. Putting on my shoes and putting the slippers back, I look up and see them leaving. I hope it wasn't too bad in there.

"Have a nice night."

"Yeah, you guys, too," I said before looking at the clock. It read almost eight at night. I sent a quick text to Lissa, saying that I'll be home shortly.

Gathering up the things that I need to take to Tyler's office, I see that they did a fantastic job. It's like you would never know what happened here just hours ago. Going downstairs, I see that most everyone has left. I called a cab right before I locked up.

~time skip~

Stepping out of the cab and onto my street, I see that Lissa is already home and is probably doing work that she took back with her. Maybe I should've gotten something to eat, or perhaps there are leftovers. Not wanting to overthink it, I just went inside.

"I'm home," I said to an empty room to find Lissa passed out on the couch with her work all around her. "Me too, girl me too."

Going into the kitchen that she got some Chinese food and just left it out. I put some on a plate and popped it in the microwave. Knowing that it's almost nine, I just took my food and my stuff into my bedroom. I changed into my pajama's and ate my food, turning on some music on my phone and trying to find my headphones so I won't wake up Lissa. I plugged them in and turned it on shuffle.

I could feel drifting off to sleep, and before I knew it, it was morning.
