Chapter 2

THIRD PERSON P.O.V.

  Tord, Patryck and Paul went to visit Jenny and Tom. Paul knocks door, and Jen opens it. She lets them in and goes at the foot of the stairs. “Hey Tom! The new neighbors are here!” she yelled to Tom and went to the kitchen with the guests. 10 seconds later Tom walked down the stairs to the kitchen where they were waiting for him.

  Paul, Tord and Patryk were sitting at the other side of the table, and Jen was sitting at the otherside. Tom sat next to her. “So do you want tea?” Jenny asked, and Pat and Pau wanted tea, but Tom and Tord didn’t. Jen got up and poured tea for her self and Pau and Pat.

TORD’S P.O.V.

  So that’s Tom… His eyes… They’re fully black… That’s weird… But cool. This is a little awkward just sitting here while my parents and Jenny are talking… Should I say something to Tom? “So… You’re Tord, right?” Tom suddenly said looking at me. “Uh, yea, I am,” I said back. “Wanna come to my room and talk more there?” He asked and I nodded. He got up, came to me, took my hand and started running upstairs and I just followed. I liked the feeling of him holding my hand.

  When we got to his room, we both sat on his bed facing each other. “Do you play any instruments?” he asked. “Piano. Why?” “Because I and my two friends have a band, and we would like a new member. Do you want to be a new member in our band?” He has a band? I looked around his room while thinking a answer, and saw that he had a black bass with checkered pattern in the middle of it.

  I looked back at him after i tought of an answer. “Uhh, Yea sure, I can be part of your band. What’s the name of the band?” “We don’t have a name yet,”. “Oh? I can try to help come up with a name,” I suggested. “Okay, cool! Give me your phone number, so I can add you to our group chat,” I nodded and gave him the phone number and he added me to the group chat.

Tom:Edd, Matt. He can play piano and wants to be part of our band.

Matt:Yay.

Edd:A new member!!

Tord:I can also help you come up with the band name. Tom told me you didn’t have one yet.

Edd:That’s great!

  “Tord, what school are you going to go?” Tom asked suddenly and I looked at him and then to the bed. “I can’t remember the schools name, but it’s the college like 10 minute walk away from here…” I said kinda embarrassed that I couldn’t remember the schools name. “Oh, Okay so the same one me, Edd and Matt go to,” Tom said. It was great to know that we we’re going to the same school so, I knew I’d have friends.

  “Oh and some info about our band! I play the bass and sing, while Matt plays the drums and Edd plays the guitar,” he said and I nodded. “We usually play in the garage. Matt and Edd has their instruments there. We could get your piano there to. My aunt has given Edd and Matt permission to go practise there when ever they want, as long as they don’t go there at night, and they inform before going, so I’m sure she’ll let you do so too,”

  “Yea, but I need to ask my dads first…” I said.  “Oh, that’s one of the things I had to ask… Why do you have two dads anyway?” “Well they just adopted me when I was a baby… Is it bad that i have two dads?” “No, it’s just weird ‘cause I’ve never known anyone with gay parents,”.

  We stayed in his room talking for a few hours. I even asked him about his eyes, but he didn’t know why they were like that. We had fun and I can’t wait to hang out with him again! He’s just so nice, and funny and cute!

TOM’S P.O.V.

  I’m laying on my bed trying to sleep, but I can’t stop thinking about him. When school starts, I hope people don’t start bullying him just for being my friend… But I have a feeling it will happen… It happened with Matt and Edd too. But most of the time those two are alone somewhere in the school’s library studying ‘cause they care about studying more that I do.

I’m usually alone in school and I don’t mind it. Or alone if you don’t count the bullies. But I don’t mind being alone in school, because usually everyone who hangs out with me also gets bullied, and I don’t want anyone else to go through that.

This chapter is 816 words long, so shorter than the last one, but my goal is to make every chapter at least 800 words long, so-
Also I’m really having hard time thinking of the band name.
