It had been about 10 minutes before the knock came. I got up off my bed and walked out to our door and opened it. There stood Alex with a paper in her hands. "Hey Blair, Can I come in?" I nodded and stepped away from the door and Alex walked in. I shut the door behind her and locked it, and then made my way over to the couch where Alex was. "What's up Alex?" I asked. "Two things actually. One, I need to know what happened downstairs a few minutes ago and secondly," She held up a folder, "you need to take a look at this." She said. I nodded my head. "I guess we need to start with what just happened." I said. "Let me go get everyone." Alex nodded and I walked down the hallway to Jonah's room. Knocking at the door, I let myself in. I smiled when I saw him and Olivia cuddled together. "Hey guys, Alex is in the living room. She wants to get some answers." I said. They both nodded and stood. I walked out of Jonah's room and into the living room. I continued down to Paytons's room and knocked at the door.
"Come in," he said. I opened the door and walked in. He was laying on his bed, doing something on his phone. "Blair!" He immediately sat up with a smile coming onto his face. "Whatcha need?" he asked. "Alex is sitting in our living room right now. She wants to talk about some stuff." I said. Payton stood from his bed. "Let's not keep her waiting then." I nodded my head and walked out of his room with Payton following close behind me. Alex, Olivia and Jonah were all seated on the floor in somewhat of a circle. Payton and I joined them. "Now that we're all here, let's get down to business." Alex said. "I already said this to Blair, but I need to know what happened downstairs. The girl who you stood up to, Amanda, her parents are quite rich. If they wanted to, they could sue the school for someone "disrespecting" their daughter. I need to know what was going on if we don't want to get sued." Alex said, worry evident in her voice.
"Alex, Jonah and I have been doing this a long time. We got those titles by our accomplishments at our old stable. Olivia joined us a little after, because my parents took her in when her and Jonah first started dating and she told us how she was living with her grandparents but they were growing old and weren't as able to take care of her anymore. My mother.....she's not the easiest person to get along with. Jonah and I have a better relationship with our dad. Dad is the nicer one. He always makes sure Jonah, Olivia and I have what we need. Most of the time, it's just the four of us and not mom because she's at a court case with a client. When I had started riding, Jonah wanted to try it out as well because we did everything together and still do. Dad and our old first coaches, the Skittinos. The Skittinos left Ellington a little before we made the YENT team. We got a new coach by the name of Madam Ramsey. Madam Ramsey was our coach for a few years before Dad talked about how he wanted us to try and get a riding scholarship to Blue Springs. We had no Idea why he wanted us to get a scholarship when he could easily pay our way into the school. However, we applied for the scholarship. The way that they determine who gets the scholarship to the school is by holding a show. However, not many people know that Jonah and I are the Willows children. The only thing they know is that Mom and Dad have twins. A girl and a boy, who were born on October 31st, 2005, also known as Halloween. As the years passed and Jonah and I got older, our REAL mom passed away. We were 2 when she died and our grandparents, aunts and uncles, all encouraged dad to remarry so that Jonah and I wouldn't have to grow up without a mother, so Dad started dating a woman named Rachel. Eventually, he married her. Rachel isn't mean, she just ignores us a lot." I said.
"The years went on and we found ourselves at the barn almost 8 hours a day. We had two 4 hour private practices with Madam Ramsey each day. Jonah burned through horses like it was nothing but I was on Ghost. Until I was sent off to camp that is. Jonah had been doing fine. He had Olivia and had found Flame, the perfect horse for him. Dad wanted me to go down to this camp to try and find another horse like Ghost. Rachel was gone again, doing her job in a court case. Dad had just asked me to try. It was at this camp where I found Titan. Years passed after that and the three of us got better and better and better. This was the point in time when dad had told us he wanted us to try out for the scholarship. We got it. Dude then told us he was going to pay a little bit of money so we could get into the perfect dorm. None of us knew he was getting this one for us until he told us about an hour before we left. And now we're here. We got those titles from our past barn. They called us the "fallen trio" but now were the "fallen quartet". None of us know what exactly happened downstairs. Normally it's just me and Jonah who do that. But when Olivia and Payton joined, it made it a million times better." I finished and looked at Alex while Olivia told her how she felt compelled to join in the talk with me and Jonah. The four of us talked more about it with Alex for a little bit. Finally, 45 minutes had passed and it was about 9 o'clock
