As promised, Yoongi did not tell Jimin what they had discussed, even though Jimin had pestered them about it.
"Come on, tell me about it!" Jimin whined, tugging on Yoongi's sleeves as the other read a book, glasses perched on his nose.
He wore more often now, after Jimin had shyly pointed out that he looked attractive while wearing them.
"Sorry Jiminie, it's a bit of a closeted issue." Yoongi had apologized before smacking a kiss on Jimin's lips. Jimin let out a disgruntled noise and let the matter drop, laying his head on Yoongi's lap.
"Fine." Jimin grumbled. "Then at least tell me a little bit about the vampire situation? I wanna know!" Yoongi sighed.
"Well, the earliest recorded act that was connected to the vampires was when we sent the scouts to take a look at their base. Only one returned and was inflicted with a strange black mass, that seemed to eat them away. One of our elders recognized it and described it as Black Magic."
Jimin shuddered, the image playing in his head. It must've been a horrible sight to see.
"Then the village Pontus was attacked. You saw it for yourself, mass killings of our citizens, their blood sucked out of them." Yoongi inhaled sharply. Jimin cooed softly and rubbed Yoongi's jaw with his hand.
"I did see, and it was horrible." Jimin whispered, images flashing through his mind, the woman, holding her child, both dead."
"You're gonna do something about it, right?" Yoongi nodded. "My father had already declared a war on the vampires, but now it's a matter of action."
Jimin trailed a finger over Yoongi's chest. "Your not gonna fight, are you?" Yoongi sighed. "Based off of past experiences with my father, it's likely he's not going to let me. He tries his best to keep me away from things like this. I don't know why."
"I thought that most heirs would-,"
"Yes that's true." Yoongi interrupts. "But for some reason he doesn't let me do things like the other heirs."
Jimin didn't say anything, and Yoongi was almost afraid Jimin might call him lame. But Jimin didn't. Instead he just smiles and snuggles into Yoongi until he was comfortable.
"That's good. I don't want you to fight. I'd never want you to put yourself in danger." He presses a smooch to Yoongi's neck. "Never."
Yoongi chuckled. "Alright sweetheart."
They received a reply a week later.
The council said that if they were to go to war, then don't expect the rest of the kingdoms to help.
Yoongi thought it was bullshit. They hated the vampires too, so why don't they take part?
