Chapter Forty-Four

"One more," Josiah said trying to take another shot of vodka. They had a mixture of gin, vodka, and chardonnay in their VIP section.

Tony went out for his best friends birthday and he even got private strippers. That was before Naomi officially became his girlfriend.

Josiah caught Naomi who was sitting next to Jillian and her twin sister. He extended the invite to her since Najomi and Naomi were in their bonding stage.

"She is fine" he mumbled under his breath while biting his bottom lip.

Naomi was not drinking much because everyone else was taking shots, she wanted to be the responsible one tonight.

"Just go over there, he is yours," Jillian said pushing Naomi's shoulder slightly.

"You right" Naomi responded making her way over to him.

"Having fun?" she asks and she could tell that he was out of it.

"Mhmm," he said rubbing his forehead while laying his head in her lap.

"Josiah," she said shaking him. He could hear her calling his name but he was way too sleepy.

She looked at the Cuban link bracelet which had the date that they met. She remembered the day vividly like it was yesterday.

That was one of her gifts to him.

Right after he opened all his gifts they made their way to the club.

"Okay you have had enough," Naomi said pulling the drink away when he tried to pick it up.

"One last one" he pouted and she tried her best not to give into him.

"Nope," she said standing up while also attempting to pull him up. But it was very hard for someone who had such a small frame to hold a man who was over six feet.

"I'll help," Blake said stepping up and helping Naomi take him down the stairs of the VIP section.

"I-i am never getting d-drunk again" Josiah stuttered when they walked in front where his car was.

"Do you need me to drop both of you at home or no?" Blake asked Naomi after he sat Josiah in the car.

"I got it, thank you," Naomi said walking over to the driver's seat.

She decided to go to her apartment since his house was far away from where they were.

She looked over at Josiah who was fast asleep before laughing.

When they made it to the complex she had to wake him.

"Siah," she said shaking him so he would wake up.

"Five more minutes" he replied waving her off.

"Josiah," she said louder this time and his eyes snapped open.

"Come on," she said and helped him out of the car. The whole elevator ride she had to hold him up since he was in and out of sleep.

She finally opened the door to her apartment and pushed it close with her feet.

She helped him to get a bedroom and as soon as she sat him in the bed he went right back to sleep.

"Really?" She said to no one in particular.

She removed his shoe and the jeans that he was wearing.

No peeking.

She went and got a container in case he was to start throwing up.

She changed into a simple shirt and shorts before joining him.

She went to the opposite end of the bed and sat reading a book before she fell asleep.

When his eyes closed she felt an arm around her body as it pulled her closer.

Josiah woke up the next morning to a throbbing headache. He looked around and saw that he was not in his room but by looking at the interior he knew where exactly he was.

There was a glass of water and two Tylenol sitting on the nightstand which he gladly took.

"Good morning," Naomi said from behind him and he internally groaned. The sound louder than she said it and that was thanks to his hangover.

"Oh sorry" she giggled while placing the tray in the middle of the bed.

"So I made some of your favorites," she said pointing to the plate and he looked at it and smiled.

He held up his finger saying one minute before going into her bathroom. There were extra toothbrushes in the cabinets so he took one and brushed his teeth and cleaned his face.

He looked down and that was when he realized he was only in his boxers.

When he was done he walked back over to the bed.

"Good morning," he said placing a kiss near her ear.

"Here," she said handing it to him while getting up to leave.

"No, stay," he said holding onto her arm.

"Ok" she replied going back to where she was sitting at.

"I didn't take you as a drinker," Naomi said with a little grin and Josiah stopped mid-bite.

"I don't remember anything that happened last night," he said to her and she nodded in understanding.

"I figured that much. I had to stop you from drinking any more than you already had" Naomi said while staring at him.

She couldn't believe that the man sitting next to her was her boyfriend.

"Take a picture," he said and instead of hiding in embarrassment, she did just that.

"What? I was joking" Josiah said when he heard the camera go off.

"You look handsome," she said and his cheeks redden.

"Oh my God! I just made you blush" Naomi said cheerfully with a goofy smile.

"Please stop," Josiah said trying to hide his smile.

"I even got it on camera, look" she tried to show him the picture but he covered his face.

"No," he said and she removed the now empty tray and placed into on the other side of the room.

"Look," she said straddling his lap but he closed his eyes refusing to look.

"Baby please" she whined and his eyes snapped opened and a smile took over his face.

"What?" she asks him unaware of what she called him.

"You called me baby," he said and now it was her turn to start blushing.

"No I didn't," she said hiding under the cover.

"Hahaha yes you did," he said trying to remove it but she had a tight hold.

"Go away," she said and he continued to laugh. He started tickling her causing her to scream.

"Ahhh Siah please," she said in between laughter.

He picked her up when she least expected it. He laid on the bed so she was straddling his waist.

His hands pushed some of her hair behind her ear and they stared into each other's eyes.

"What?" she asked when he kept staring at her.

"You're beautiful," he said and she tried to remove her hands from his hold.

"Don't hide from me" he said leaning up to place kisses all over her face.

"Your mine forever".

I will go into details on what he got as gifts .

I did not know 11th grade was going to be this stressful. The onlines classes makes the situation worse because I feel like I have options and I don't got to do the work.
