-it was soon to be her birthday and she decided to invite you
-you've probably realized leaving didn't help her wellbeing
-going to this party won't either
-but maybe it'll give you a new start
-arriving at the party she waited a few minutes until she pulled you aside
-"im really sorry for leaving you"
-"it's okay actually, I think I'm doing better, but I forgive you."
-you guys were quiet at first but hung out for the rest of the party
