Seventeen | Fallen Promise: Company

We arrived at the company. The employees welcomed me as I enter the building. I've been here before. But I didn't went again until now. I have this trauma of wha happened when I was a child. That was the last day I've been together with Dada and mommy. Since that day, I never came here again with grandma because it just brings back memories.

But I know, I have to fight and escape that traumatizing memory, I have to do this. For my family, so I bravely went her again. And thank goodness, I did not panic.

"This way to office, sir" Butler Joe said, guiding me to the elevator. And up to the office. Now we have arrived. Butler Joe handed over to me some papers to be signed.

"Do I have to read this before signing" I said because I have no idea about this

"No need sir, it was verified already by your grandma, you're just observing for now, so she already did the work for you, so that you won't be stressed reading. Your grandma knows you get sleepy when you read something long" Butler Joe said, that made me chuckle for a while, because that's true. I can see the letters dancing whenever I read for a long time. That's why I suddenly feel sleepy, and in a moment I'd be sleeping because of that.

After I signed the papers, I went over to the glass window, I looked down, I felt m knees weaken looking down. The building is so high, I can see the people passing by like ants. I looked up and then I saw something at the rooftop. The building is shaped as letter U so I can see the other side, since the office was at the end.

I can see someone sanding on top of the building. I was a bit taken away when I saw the person standing at the edge of the rooftop. I can clearly see the person is wearing a red dress, a short hair up to the shoulder.

"Butler Joe, do you see the person standing at the rooftop?" I asked Butler Joe, while looking back and facing him.

"Where? I don't see anyone master?" Butler said, then I looked back at the top again. And I was surprised really no one was there. I guess I was just hallucinating.

"I think I'm just mistaken, I think I'm just hungry" I explained.

DION SCHMITZ

I left as soon as possible as I received another summon from up above. What do they want me to do this time. I hope it's not a task in the land of the dead again, cause seriously it's so tiring there.

"Take me to my mission" I chanted. Then I suddenly appeared in the angel's lair. I let out a huge sigh, thank goodness, it's not the land of the dead.

"Dion!" I recognized the one who called me,it was the old man before.

"Oh, elder, it's been a long time" I said and walked towards him, and offered him a warm hug.

"Why am I back here again" I asked

"I'm here to tell you, that you're final mission is nearing" he said. And because of that, I suddenly felt so very very happy, I didn't expect this huge news for me.

"Yes, it's near. But for now you have to help me here first with your mission" he said

"What's my mission here?" I asked curiously

"Escorting a thousand dead to the gateway to heaven" he said

"A thousand? Well okay, fine, it's better anyway than the sorting task before, it'll be finished just in a day" I said then bid goodbye to elder angel, so that I could start my mission. I want to finish this as soon as possible.

MAX DAVIDSON

          "Hey Rocky, wanna hang out later? Wanna pounce on some girls later" I said, while convincing Rocky to come with me to the club.

          "Hell, yeah men, I'm in!!" He replied

          "Aren't you gonna invite the others too? Like Dylan" Edvher said.

          "Okay, okay, fine but please, let him go to another room, he always take the girls with him. Instead the girls would cling to me, I don't know why but when they see him, it's like he's a magnet that attracts them" I complained

          "I know what you feel, but don't worry that won't happen again" Rocky said

          It always happen like this. Rocky will always say that it won't happen again, but in the end. The girls always ended up in his lap. I'm so jealous. Am I not attractive. I'm handsome too. What's he's charm. Ohh! Maybe because he's an ice block. Should I try being an ice block too. Maybe that will work.

          "Hey Edvher, Do you think if I act like an ice block too, girls would pounce on me as soon as they see me?" I said, that made all the guys laugh at me

          "Even if you turn to ice, you won't be like me" speaking of the guy whom we were talking about, we didn't notice that he was standing and listening by the door.

         "Wazzup Man, please teach me how to make girls attracted to me" I pleaded to Dylan

          "It's not something that you learn, it's something that you're born with" Dylan replied. And the whole group laughed at us sarcastic reply.

          "I just finished my job at the company, I'm so tired" Dylan added, while walking to the couch and then laid to rest.

          "So Do you still wanna come with us later?" I asked since he's tired, so maybe not, anyway it's better he'll not come, all the girls will be on me.

          "Since when did I ever reject clubbing, Hell yeah, I'm gonna be there. I never say no to clubbing" Dylan said, and got up.

          "Meet you guys at 9, and don't bring your cars, I'll bring mine" I volunteer, so that it won't be a hustle.

          "I'm gonna bring my girl" Edvher said

          "Whatever, hope all have a girlfriend" I said

          "Then look for a girlfriend, there are a lot of girls, especially Brett's friends, you can pick one from them" Dylan suggested

          "What if I pick Luna. Won't you be angry?" I asked Dylan, and the group suddenly fell into silence

          "Whatever. You can have her, good. I won't have to deal with her clingy attitude" Dylan replied

          "Are you sure about that, I know that she liked you for a long time, I mean Don't you really feel even a tinie tiny bit for her?" I asked again, just for an assurance.

          "Yes, go on and fuck her if you want" he said then left.

          "You said that, no backing out" I said to him.

BRETT MAXPEIN

          "Hey, girl check this out, My honey bunch just texted me, their going to the club tonight" I said while running to the front so the girls would focus on me

          "Really?? Yes" Luna said as she raises her hands up high

          "Happy? Girl?" Yna confronted her

         "Of course because, I planned something so that Dylan would notice me" Luna said excitedly

          "Whatever that ridiculous plan of yours, I hope it goes well, and nothing goes wrong with that" I said to her and left a smile.

          "Yes, of course, definitely" Luna replied
