Twenty-eight | Fallen Promise: The Fall

NATHAN

          As I arrived in the garden I saw Dylan carrying Dion.She was unconscious. What happened?? I told her not to go with him, now what is happening??

          I saw the look on Dylan's face. It was full of worry. I followed them inside the house. He laid her in the bed for a moment then went to the washroom, he was preparing something.

DYLAN FITZPATRICK

          I Have to ease her down, now that the drug is still spiking. I laid her down the bed. I went to the washroom to clear of the tub. I opened the faucet and fill it up halfway. I went out of the room and went to the kitchen.

         I took packs of ice cubes and then went back to the wash room and poured it down. I carried again Dion and put her in the tub. Now she's soaking wet. I can see her inner cloth  now. I let her stay there so that the drug will subside.

          I left her there for a moment. And I went outside..my phone rang as I got out of the washroom.

          "Hello Dylan" I guessed right, it was Luna

          "What is it this time?" I asked

          "I'm sorry to disturb you, but the girl you are with earlier, I saw her making out with some guys" she said on the phone

          "So you planned this all along, you're the one who did that" I said

          "What? Wait?" She shockingly said

          "She's with me right now, she also almost got taken advantaged, good thing I arrived there on time" I said to her

          "I know your the behind this stupid thing! Don't let me see you ever again, cause damn, we are over, our friendship now is over.. This is the last time!" I shouted at her, and then I blocked her number.

        After an hour I went back to her. She's cooling now somehow. I called the attendant to come inside and ordered her to change her clothes. So i stepped out for a moment.

          She's now already clothed, and starting to gain her consciousness, I carried her back to the bed and laid her.

          "Uh...what happened??" She said, while trying to sit up..

          "Don't talk, later Dion, later. Rest first" I told her, and then went outside to prepare a hot soup for her.

NATHAN

          I heard everything.... she was almost taken advantaged of because of that guy. Nothing good happens if she's with him. I knew that it. It's not good for her to be with him. I deserve her, because when she's with me. She didn't experience any horrifying events like this.

          You'll pay for this.

          I followed him to the kitchen. He was preparing something personally for her to eat. Tsk....he's being like this because he's just guilty.

          I looked for a way for me to get his attraction. With swoosh, I hallucinated his visions, him seeing Dion walking outside the house.

          "Hey, where are you going? You still need to rest" he said as he kept on following what he see in his eyes.

          The place is getting further going up to the hill, but he still didn't bother, he still followed up until there the cliff.

          "What are you doing here? Star gazing?" He said as he walked. Then I revoked the hallucination. He found himself dumbfounded that Dion was not in front, she just vanished like a thin air.

DYLAN FITZPATRICK

          What's going on?? She was in front me? I followed her here. And she just vanished! Did I just hallucinate? Did I worry much about her to the point of hallucination?

          I stiffened for a moment as I felt there's something cold brushed by my side. I looked back but there's no one.

          But I'm sure, really it's not only me whose here. I can feel that there's someone with me. But when I scan through the surroundings there's none. Then I suddenly felt a strong wind.

         Huh? What's with the weather, weird...

          The wind is pushing me, it was strong and I can't help but be pushed back, it's shaking off my balance, I noticed that I'm now only a few steps from the cliff. It's still shaking my balance off.. I'm becoming more word it's getting nearer, I'm getting nearer...

          Then that's it... now I'm falling

         God!! Please save me!! I shouted, and felt I'm in tears

         If it's my time already, please no, not yet...

         I just found someone that's the reason I kept going on! I thought to myself if grandma's gone, there will be no sense anymore, but I met her!!!!!! Dion!!!!!!!!!!

          Now I closed my eyes...waiting for my death as I fall

          I felt something wrapped around my waist, as if someone's hugging me, and I can sense even though I didn't opened my eyes, that I was floating. It was already 10 minutes but I'm not yet landing...

          I opened my eyes, and there I saw Dion in front of me. But what shocked me more is that her look is different. She's got a halo above her head. And she's got a feathery wings, as white as snow, and her wrists were shining...

          "Dion?" The only word I uttered, for some reason, I hugged her without asking anymore questions, until we landed up, and brought us back to the front of the garden away from the cliff.

DION SCHMITZ

          The only thing i remembered was I being taken by the guy Luna hired. And after that I don't remember at all. The next thing I woke up is I'm being soaked in the tub by Dylan. Then the attendant changed my clothes, then Dylan carried me back here in bed.

          I don't know what happened, but I can see fully how worried he was.

          He let me rest first. I wanted to ask but he said later. So I agreed.

          He went outside, he said he'll prepare something from me. So here i am waiting. He's so thoughtful. But later I want him to explain about Luna. We're not yet together but it's better to clear things up.

          I'm now regaining a little bit of energy. I'm still waiting for him. But he's taking so long. I can't wait anymore.

          My wrist suddenly lit. It's unusual for my wrist to lit like this, it's often the scroll that shines, but now it's my wrist, just like before. I don't know if this is now my last mission, or not yet or just an add ons minor one. But this mission is kinda hard cause I need to follow the The direction where my wrist would lead me, unlike the scroll which would take me there automatically....

          After I traced where my wrist is showing me I saw a man falling. I can't clearly see him, he's still far. My wrist glows even more as I approached.

          "Dylan???" I rushed even more faster, grabbed him by his hand, giving way for me to hug him, to make a balance, then the glow on my wrist slowly faded. So my mission was to save him.

          Even if this was not my mission. I would save him. He's Dylan. The one person now I fell in love with.

          "Dion" he shockingly said. But then he suddenly just hugged me without asking anything.

          Now I flew towards the front of the front of the garden where we landed away from the cliff. I used my full energy again, I was regaining my energy, but because of this sudden happening, I felt my body weak again. My halo disappeared as well as my wings. I looked at him and smiled before i lost my consciousness again.
