SIXTEEN

I was sitting in my room, listening to music. Then someone tapped on my shoulder. I took my headphones out and turned around to the blue eyes of Luke.

"Hey babe, what are you up to?"

"Homework."

"Well you should stop doing homework," he kissed me briefly "and kiss me."

For some reason I didn't hesitate to do so. My arms wrapped around his neck and he kissed me with such passion. Then I woke up, breathing heavy and in Luke's bed.

"Morning sunshine. Did ya sleep well?"

"Uhh, fine. Sorry that I..that I slept in your bed. I think I was sleep walking."

"That's fine. I don't mind at all."

"Of course you don't."

"What was that Ana?"

"Nothing. Just talking to myself."

He looked at me with disbelief. I don't blame him. I don't believe me. I know I didn't sleepwalk into his bed. I woke up and found myself walking into his room and climbing under his covers. It was so cold on the couch,I needed a warm bed. So I climbed in bed with Luke. I probably shouldn't have but I was cold.

"Hey, sunshine do you want breakfast? Or do you want to just jump in the shower?"

"I think I'll just jump in the shower."

"Alright. Make it quick, I have to jump in too."

"Okay."

It was so strange to shower in someone else's home. I didn't know where anything was and the fact that Luke was in the same house made me nervous. I stepped out of the shower only to realize that I didn't bring my clothes. I was so nervous that I forgot to bring them in, plus I'm used to being able to just walk out in my towel because I have my own bathroom at home. I peeked my head out of the door, I saw no sign of Luke. I tried to quickly run down the hall to grab my clothes. I failed, because there in the living room was Luke sitting to the chair to the right of the couch where my clothes where. Luke looked over at me and his eyes grew wide. His eyes looked down my body then back up. His eyes locked with mine and the heat rushed to my cheeks. Neither one of us moved nor looked away. Slowly I started moving towards my bag. Our eyes never left one another's. Looking at his blue eyes was so intense. I wanted to melt under his gaze.

   I reached my bag and quickly took it and ran down the hallway to the bathroom. I locked the door and took a deep breath. I hope he doesn't tease me about how blonde I acted. For some unknown reason being around him makes my brain forget so many things.
