Part 1, Episode 5: The Performance On Fire

Jay POV

Now that they knew the truth, I can probably stop singing for life. Then the lights went out, a spot light shined in my face. I covered my eyes as I heard his voice. "You think the truth can set you free..that is just bogus.."

I felt his cold hand around my throat and slammed against the wall. "Your contract states that I, Caleb, says Number 1: You work for me and do as I say, Number 2: You become the next leader singer in Phantoms and the Julie, Number 3: You must keep this all a secret from anyone..and Number 4: Your soul is mine until I say otherwise.."

He started to squeeze my throat as I started to choke. "You broke number 3 and 2 and 2 isn't even an option and did I mention what happens when you break number 3. It means that you perform for me for LIFE. Say goodbye to Brooklyn and say hello to the nightclub at this hotel.."

He smirked as the tattoo darkened to the darkest color and appeared on both my wrist but never faded away. He dropped me and poofed on performance wear, "Its' show time.."

Julie POV

"How can we stop it from becoming real?" I asked, "He has to trust you. And he hasn't trusted anyone since 2015..he knows when he is able to trust, but I don't. Even if it seems like he wants to trust you, his heart deines it and stops him from saying the three words and your name."

Everyone gasped as then the lights started to flicker, they turned off for a second and then back on and Jayden was missing along with Willie. "Jay and Willie are missing.." Alex said, "Where could they have gone.." asked Flynn, the boy's eyes widened, "The Exclusive Ghost Club in the hotel next to the Orpheum." said Reggie as my eyes widened.

"Wasn't that the place he had almost held you guys captive." they nodded, "That is where Jay will be, but Willie won't be." said Alex, "Then where is he?" asked Luke, "The Musem he took me to when I first met him."

They nodded, "Okay let's' split up, Reggie and I will go for Jay and Julie and Alex and Flynn if she wants to go to Willie." I nodded as we all split, but since Alex can't just expect me and Flynn to know where he was going we tried teleporting with him by holding onto an item of his to see if his ghost powers can transfer to clothing. "Hang on.." he said.

Reggie POV

As Luke and I poofed to the club, we saw him on the stage with Caleb. "Welcome back everyone, we have a special treat for you all. May I present Jayden Greene..the next big ghoul!" people applauded as he had looked miserable up there. He looked like he sweated so much and looked pale. "The song I will be singing is This Boy On Fire.." an upbeat music was playing.

Jay POV

People applauded as I held my throat in pain, I could see in the distance Luke & Reggie, Caleb came on stage as they went to go hide behind something. "Give a hand to Jayden.." as they continued they made their way backstage. "We'll be back in 10 minutes for song number 2.." he pulled me aside and said "This is your only break.."

He pushed me into my dressing room as I turned and saw them sitting there. "Nice song..but I would change the lyrics if I were you.." I laughed and groaned in pain. "Why did you guys come, he is still looking for you."

"We know but if you want to be free from Caleb you have to say the three words and our names. That is what Willie said." I looked at them and tried to speak but my voice was gone. Only air came out. "That's not good.." said Reggie, Luke looked at him mad, "You THINK?!"
