Klaus's POV
      She left, and I just sat there dumbfounded. She wanted me to tell her, but I couldn't cause if I did it would get her into more trouble. I got too close and I shouldn't of. I just couldn't bare another moment without her. I am falling in love with her, hell I fell in love with her the moment I first seen her, I just didn't know it.

I debate for five minutes whether to follow her. I then just got up and headed out her room and downstairs. I headed out the front door, she had to of walked. Her car was still at my house, so I decided to walk and see if I can catch up to her. I walk down the driveway, when I reached the end of the driveway, I seen something shiny on the ground. I walked over and seen it was a phone. I picked it up and it was her phone. It had a pink case with butterflies, with a letter 'C' on the back.

She showed me it one day, and I laughed. I thought it was goofy, but she loved it. Butterflies were her mother's favorite animal. I looked around and seen a ring laying on the ground. I picked it up and seen it was her ring. It was a ring that Rebekah have her for her 16th birthday. It was a lapis lazuli, Caroline always wore it, she loved it. I then looked at the road and seen tire marks. I looked to my left and seen a syringe in the dirt, I picked it up and seen it was empty. I quickly ran back up the driveway, and got in my car. I drove to my house.

I arrived at my house, and parked my car. I quickly ran inside and seen everyone in the living room. They seen I had a worried expression on my face and sweating. Father said, " What happened, boy?"

I quickly caught my breath and said, " They took her. The Lockwoods took Caroline."

They all gasped. Elijah said, " I thought you were with her. How did you let her go with them? How do you even know they took her?"

I said, " I was with her. She was upset with Lily and Giuseppe being dead, and then we both got into an argument, and she told me to leave but I wouldn't. So, she left. Five minutes later, I finally got the courage to go after her, and walked down the Salvatore driveway. I seen her phone, her ring, and a syringe in the dirt."

Mother said, " Are you sure the stuff was hers?"

I said, " Yes."

I pulled her phone, ring and the syringe out of my pocket. I laid the things on the coffee table. Rebekah gasped and picked up the ring. She said, " This is hers, I gave this to her on her 16th birthday, 3 and a half years ago."

Father and Elijah picked up the syringe to look at it. Freya said, " Why would they take her? How did they know she was back?"

I then put the pieces together. I said, " They planned this whole thing. Once they knew she was out of town after graduation. They had to find a way to lure her back into town, so they can get the information out of her as quickly as possible."

Kol said, " They killed Lily and Giuseppe because they knew she cared about them. They knew the Salvatore brothers would call her back into town. The moment they knew she was back, they planned on taking her. When Nik and her got into a spat, she walked out, since he wouldn't. That's when they took her."

I punched a wall, and there was a hole through it. I said, " This is all my fault. This was my Fault!!"

Elijah put a hand on my shoulder. He calmly said, " This isn't your fault, brother."

I turned around and said, " Yes, it is. I should've told her the truth, she wanted the truth. When I wouldn't give her the truth, she walked out. This is my Fault, Elijah."

Freya said, " The truth? The truth about what?"

I said, " I told her that Lily and Giuseppe were shot, and that Elijah and Father was with them and witnessed it. She pressed for more answers, about our family. I told her I couldn't. I should've just given her the truth, then she wouldn't of been taken."

Mother said, " My son, if you would've told her, who knows what she would've done. She would've told the Lockwoods, for all we know."

Elijah shook his head, he said, " She wouldn't of told them."

Kol said, " How do you know Elijah?"

He said, " She wouldn't of, because she hated the Lockwoods. Tyler and her dated, and when her mother died he laughed in her face and broke up with her cause she was grieving her mother and didn't pay attention to him."

I gritted my teeth, even though I knew the truth about what a Tyler did before. I just can't wait till he gets what is deserved to him. Rebekah said, " We need to look for her."

I said, " There were tire marks on the road, it went west. That road leads into town, so there has to be a place somewhere, where she could be."

Mother nodded and Father, Elijah, Kol went to look at the properties in Mystic Falls. I couldn't take it, I went upstairs to my office on the second floor. I quickly threw everything around, I couldn't control my anger and frustration. This is all my fault!! That is all I could think of. It is all my fault!!

Caroline's POV
I woke up chained to a chair. My feet were locked in place by chains, and my arms were chained down to the chair. It was a dark room, there was a steel door, with metal bars towards the top. Then someone opened the door, and walked in. Once I seen the person in the light, I seen it was Tyler. He said, " Where's the safe?"

I said, " What safe?"

He said, " Playing dumb won't get you anywhere. Where is the damn safe, Caroline?"

I said, " I don't know what you are talking about."

He then slapped me across the face. He said, " That's not good enough. Where is it?"

I said, " I don't know!"

He then took out a syringe from his pocket, and jammed it into my neck. Everything went black again.
