Caroline's POV
It has been 2 months since Christmas. I haven't spoken to Klaus since. He hasn't answered my calls or texts. I woke up and put on my strapless green dress, with my Jean jacket and my black heels. I then went to the kitchen and made coffee. I drank the coffee, and my phone buzzed. It was a texted from Elijah.

E- Come to Rousseau's.

C- Be right there.

I then grabbed my purse and headed out the door. I then walked down the street to Rousseau's. I walked inside and looked around hunting Elijah. I then seen him in a booth in the back. I went over and sat down.

I said, " What is this about?"

Elijah said, " I wanted to tell you that Niklaus can't speak to you right now. I have been informed that you have been calling and texting him. He wanted me to talk with you."

I said, " Why can't he talk to me?"

Elijah said, " We got word that the threat against Niklaus is looking at anyone he has contact with. So, we can't have you communicating at all. He doesn't want to see you hurt."

I said, " If he doesn't want to see me hurt, then he needs to tell me himself. Bye Elijah."

I then stormed out of Rousseau's and walked down the street to my apartment. As I walked to the door of the building, someone said, " Caroline Forbes?"

I turned around to see a man with a beard and has dark wooly hair. I said, " Do I know you?"

He said, " No. but I know you."

Before I could react, something pricked my neck. Everything went black.

Elijah's POV
She does have the right to be mad. I exited Rousseau's, and went down the street to her apartment. As I went to the door of her building, something caught my eye on the ground. It was a diamond bracelet. Not any bracelet, it was the diamond bracelet, Niklaus gave Caroline. I picked it up, hoping she it dropped off her wrist. I ran upstairs to her apartment, and knocked on the door. She wouldn't answer, I then kicked open the door.

I walked inside and didn't see her. I searched her whole apartment, and she wasn't there. I then started to get worried. I quickly exited her apartment and ran to the Compound as quickly as I could.

Ten minutes later, I arrived at the compound. I walked inside and yelled, " NIKLAUS. MOTHER. FATHER. REBEKAH. FREYA. KOL!!"

A couple minutes later, they all ran downstairs to the courtyard. Niklaus seen the bracelet in my hand, and grabbed it. He said, " This is Caroline's. Where is she?"

I just looked at him, and he knew what happened. He said, " No. No. No. This cannot be happening! No, I refuse to believe it!"

He had tears down his cheeks, knowing what happened. Rebekah said, " Mind to tell us what is happening?"

I sighed and said, " Caroline and I were talking. She got mad and walked out and down the street towards her apartment. After a minute, I got up and followed after her. I then found her bracelet that Niklaus gave her outside her apartment building. I searched her apartment, and didn't find her. She has been taken."

Father said, " That's it! We need to find this Theirry Vanchure, right now!!"

I said, " I got word this morning of where he is."

Niklaus said, " Then what the bloody hell are we doing here! We have to go after him!"

He started walking to the door. I said, "Niklaus. We can't."

He turned around and looked at me. He said, " Why the bloody hell not, Elijah?!"

I said, " If we go now, he will expect it. He will Caroline the moment we step foot in there. We have to find a solution to get her out alive."

Niklaus then huffed and stormed upstairs. I rubbed my head, and Kol said, " Do we know who is helping him?"

I said, " Yes. Diego. He was Marcel's friend, and is now helping Theirry."

Freya said, " Can we get Marcel to have a meeting with this Diego? Then we quickly get him and get answers out of him."

I said, " Sounds good. Let me get Marcellus."

I pulled out my phone and called Marcellus. He answered and said, " Elijah, what's up my man?"

I said, " We need you to set up a meeting with Diego. Tonight."

He said, " Will do."

He then hung up. I said, " He is setting up the meeting. He will tell us later of where and when."

They nodded and I then headed upstairs. I walked to Niklaus's wing of the compound. I heard some clashing and sounded like he was throwing things. I opened the door, to his office and walked inside. Everything was a wreck, he threw the chair and it hit right beside me.

I said, " Niklaus, we will find out where she is. You have my word."

He said, " I don't care about your word, Elijah. I want her here, and safe. I should've had Davina take her out of town, 2 months ago, when we found out that he was trying to get to anyone I have contact with."

I said, " We had no idea, he was this close to getting to you. You need to stay strong."

He said, " I will be fine, when she is here and is with me. And Theirry is dead."

I nodded and left the room. I walked down the hall to my wing of the house. My phone buzzed. It was a text from Marcellus.

M- Meeting tonight at 7 at St. James Infirmary.

I then went to Fathers wing and entered his office. I said, " Meeting is tonight at St. James."

Father said, " Good. Get Kol and Freya to go with you."

I said, " What about Niklaus?"

Father said, " He might end up messing this plan up. We can't have that."

I said, " What is going to happen after this plan is complete?"

Father sighed and said, " We have to do what we've always done, and leave."

I said, " What about the girl? Surely Niklaus won't want to leave her again."

Father said, " The girl, she will be fine without us in her life. She is Niklaus's weakness and we can't have any weaknesses. Elijah, I wish we could stop leaving, but we can't. We have to get rid of these people like Theirry in the world. Your mother and I have been with the FBI for 36 years, we had kids to carry on what we do. We wanted your siblings to take out these horrible people in the world. Caroline, she is good, and the world needs a lot of good. We can't ruin her goodness, by taking her with us. We can't have that."

   I nodded and headed downstairs to the courtyard. I seen Kol and Freya sitting there. I said, " Let's go. We have to get ready for tonight."

  They nodded and we went to our routine. We got ready, and then had dinner. Then we grabbed our stuff and headed out the door, to my Bentley. We got in and drove to St. James. We arrived and headed inside. We seen Marcellus talking with Diego at the bar. I nodded to Freya and she went over as a distraction. Kol and I went behind Diego and grabbed the back of his neck. I said, " We need to have a chat."
