Goodbye

Caroline's POV
      I woke up and seen Nik walk into our room. I got up and said, " Hey. Are you ready to go?"

     He said, " Yeah. All of my bags are in the car."

     I grabbed his hand and we walked out of the room, and out of our wing. We then went downstairs, and seen everyone down there in the courtyard. Davina was saying goodbye to everyone. Once I reached the bottom of the stairs, I let go of Nik's hand, and walked over to Bekah.

       I hugged her and said, " Bye, Beks. I'll miss you."

    She said, " I'll miss you too, Care Bear."

    I then walked over to Elijah and hugged him. He said, " Goodbye Caroline."

    I said, " Bye, Elijah. Make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble."

   Elijah chuckled and said, " I'll try."

      I hugged Freya. I then walked over to Kol. He looked at my shirt and said, " So you didn't burn it."

     I laughed. I wear Kol's shirt he got me for Christmas, for pjs. I said, " Don't test me. I will burn it, if you hurt Davina."

    He laughed and said, " Never, Darling. So do I get a hug too?"

   I said, " Nah."

    He then pulled me into his arms and hugged me. I said, " Kol, you never hug."

   He said, " Maybe just this once. You brought out the good in my brother. You deserve the whole world. Everyone knows how hard it is for, Nik to open his heart to anyone. He never opens up, and loves anyone the way he does with you."

    I said, " He's just scared that if he opens up, people will leave him infinitely and utterly alone. He doesn't want to be alone. Anyway, goodbye Kol."

   He said, " Bye, Care Bear."

     I rolled my eyes, and walked over to Mikael and Esther. I said, " Goodbye. Mikael. Esther."

     They nodded and I walked over to Nik. He was standing by the stairs, still. The moment I was in arm reach. He brought me into his arms and hugged me.

     He said, " I'll miss you, my love. I promise to come back to you."

     I looked into his eyes, and said, " I'm holding you to it."

     He chuckled and I Leaned in and kissed his lips. We were trying to make this kiss last. We poured all of our emotions into it. We didn't want to let go of each other. After a few minutes, someone said, " Nik, we don't have all day!"

   We pulled apart and I heard someone say, " Ouch. What was that for, Darling?"

    Davina said, " Leave them be. They are saying there goodbye."

    I gazed into his eyes, and said, " I'll miss you, Nik."

   He said, " I will miss you more, my love."

   I said, " I doubt that. I love you, Niklaus."

    He said, " I love you, Caroline."

    He pecked my lips, and then I walked him to the door of the Compound. I pecked his lips one last time, and then he got in the car and they left. I walked back into the compound and Davina said, " How about we go shopping? That'll cheer us up."

   I laughed and said, " Yeah. Let me get dressed. Maybe we can invite Marcys girlfriend."

    Davina nodded and I headed upstairs to Nik and i's wing. I walked inside out room, and went into the closet. I put on my blue dress with my blue heels. I then got my phone and texted Marcy.
