"And..." Ally holds the suspense of the moment before completing her knot to the dock. "We are here!"

"Uh, it's hot." Dinah immediately complains (as if it hasn't been getting progressively warmer throughout their trip from Alaska to California), going to take a step out of the ketch when Normani stops her.

"Take the eye patch off, we want to blend in for right now." Normani reminds her. She keeps her hand on her shoulder as Dinah begrudgingly yanks off the eye patch and shoves in it her pocket. She mutters something about 'shivering your timbers.'

Ally helps Normani off, taking her hand as she steps down. Then Lauren, and then Camila, who offers Ally a shy smile after receiving her help. Lauren is waiting for Camila, bumping into her playfully as the crew walks down the dock.

"So how long will we be docked there?" Camila asks, both her and Lauren a little behind the other three.

"However long we need to be. But I'm hoping only one or two nights, I don't want to bother your San Francisco friend too much." Ally laughs, her head turned so she can see them. Then she frowns slightly, "who is your San Francisco friend, Camila?"

Shit.

"Uh, her name is Lucy." Camila says awkwardly, looking down as they walk through a field of grass. Lauren is staring at her, she can feel it.

"And where does Lucy live?"

Camila is forced to raise her head. In front of her is a wild city; buildings taller than Camila has ever seen, more cars than Camila thought could be in the world, the buzz and noise she's never heard before. People bicycle by, cars honk, and birds scatter. The sky is blue and the air is warm, but she wouldn't consider it hot—it's a comfortable heat.

If she hasn't moved, then, "she lives down Franklin Street."

Franklin Street... she remembers her.

"We could live down Franklin Street near the square park, you and I. Camila, please." Lucy had begged her, grasping her hands so tightly.

Camila had failed her.

"Near the square park." She adds, blinking quickly to rid of wetness in her eyes.

Ignoring Lauren's questioning gaze, Camila grimaces when Dinah speaks loudly, "can we look around before heading there, though? This place is huge!"

Camila has to agree, she's never seen a place so bustled like this. People have meaning here, places to be and go. They're not stuck in a lighthouse in Sitka, Alaska. She wonders if Lucy is out there, among these people. Of course she is.

"I have to stay near port and ask around for any clues on where the Dragonfly might've gone. I'll keep Lauren with me, but you three can pal around, I don't care. Meet us back here before four." Ally tells them.

Sinking within her chest, anxiety bubbles over her. Ally is stealing Lauren away and leaving her with Dinah and Normani, who have evil grins on their faces. Yes, Camila knows them and doesn't mind their company, but Lauren is how she filters through moments she'd rather not partake in.

And now she's waving goodbye to her, soon to see her in three hours.

"This is going to be so fun," Dinah exclaims, linking arms with both girls, joyously skipping. "We never go anywhere like this. Just boring places like—"

"Sitka?" Camila guesses. She doesn't mind Sitka in itself, but she would consider it somewhat boring compared to this new, exciting city. Or maybe that's just how contrast feels.

"No, I like Sitka a lot. I meant boring places without adventure. Upper Alaska gets kind of frigid, so it's not my favorite. That's why I like Sitka, it's decent and pretty. Plus we live there so." Dinah laughs.
