Chapter Four.
"Are we there yet?"
"No."
"What about now?"
"Zara, we're still on the bloody plane."
"Really, I didn't notice." Zara says as she removes her sunshades to look at her BFF who sat with a scowl etched on his forehead.
"Aggravating?" She asked in a quirky tone knowing full well she was being a pain in his behind but still he couldn’t help but care about her, a simple minded, angel citizen; Zara Clarke.
"Infuriating, overbearing spoilt little girl." He said the first words he had used to describe her the first time they had met in the town square, only this time he was joking with her.
"I'll never forget that day." Zara said with a sigh.
"The day you scolded a Prince. That wasn’t smart of you but, you sure got you something awesome."
"Lucien, that day isn't just the day I met Royalty, it's the day I met my friend; my best friend."
"You're getting soft on me, Clarke?"
"Never, Sinclair. Never, I'll continue to speak my mind to you even if you don't want to hear it. "
"Good to know."
The pilot announced that they would soon be landing, so both Zara and Lucien fastened their seat-belts. Curiosity ate Zara alive as she wondered where her friend was taking her to. She trusted him and his choices and he was someone she would give a knife to and trusted that he would rather stab himself than her. That was how solid their friendship was and he was right to say that even if they wanted to break it, they couldn't.

"Stacey, how did the meeting go, did he like the shots?""Girlfriend, who wouldn't like you?" Stacey asked dumbfounded by her friend's absurd question. "Enough of your crazy talk. So how's your getaway coming up?"
She chuckled softly. "I am guessing you're the culprit who packed my clothes."
"Guilty. Now give me details?"
Zara took a cursory glance around. She wasn't dressed to impress but, rather like an everyday girl in a pair of skinny jeans and a crop shirt, some sneakers and her sunshades on top of her head.
Lucien had gone to grab their bags and had asked her to wait for him, so she did and decided to make some calls.
"It's okay, we landed a few minutes ago, I'm just waiting for Lucien."
"I can’t believe you know Lucien Sinclair. Like OMG!!! The guy is handsome and perfection by definition. He is God's gift to women or a specific woman, whoever the lucky fellow is."
"Yeah, whoever." She looks up to see Lucien coming towards her with two suitcases.
"Got to go. I'll talk to you later girl."
"Bye Babe. Don't miss me too much and don't come back without the autograph."
Zara simply hung up and walked towards Lucien.
"Hey, who were you talking with?"
"Manager slash girlfriend."
"Okay." He handed her her suitcase. "Ready for the perfect holiday?" He inquired as they made their way to the exit.
"I was born ready, Sinclair."
"I don't doubt that one bit."
"Hold up, Lucien. Don't you have some writing to do or some sort…"
"We won't be here forever but, if you want that it can be arranged. Yes though, I do have to write but I can do it on the trip and tops this will last three days max."
When they got outside, Zara took a look around taking in her surroundings. She was stunned.
"Well played." Her eyes finally landed on Lucien. "I can't believe you remembered this."
"How can I forget what you told me; 'Lucy, when I grow up I want to go to India. They are so cool and when I get there I want to wear saris and take loads of pictures.' That day, I promised myself we would go there together some day and it's the perfect place to take you if I want to worm my way back into your heart."
"You're a charmer, I hate and love that fact."
"I wouldn't be a prince if I didn't have a good charm, now would I be?" He said cockily. "Let's go already, this city waits for no one and Clarke, we have to make the most of every minute cause I plan to make this memorable for the both of us."
She didn't doubt him after all he was Lucien Sinclair, infamous actor and writer, popular and well sort of the Prince of Angel Groves but, most of all he is the guy that knew her better than she knew herself.
