Chapter Three.
Zara sat on Lucien's couch eating her fries with ketchup as she flipped through channels on the television. Lucien walked in holding a bowl of popcorn. He pounced on the couch beside her.
"What do you want to watch?"
"Thysia." Zara said as she munched on her fries.
"Something else?"
"Like what, Mr. Scriptwriter?"
"Alpha king."
"Nope, Liam Green it is."
"Zee, I was in the main cast, in fact, I played the role of Liam Green but, I want you to watch a script I wrote. "
"I want to watch Thysia, if you don't want to then go hug a tree or something because I don't care. I want to watch Thysia; season two recently just came out."
Lucien sighed and then tuned the channel to movies and played Thysia for her. Her attention completely fixated on the television screen and his eyes trained on her.
"So, how has the modelling world been treating you?"
Zara sighed then answered him. "It's nice, I always loved playing dress up."
Lucien chuckles to himself and sips out of his water. "I know, Zee. I was there during your childhood."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah!!! Keep acting like you didn't have a blast playing dress up with me."
"Zara, you literally forced me to put the clothes on or you would do something entirely despicable."
"You make me sound bad." She said as she briefly glanced at him before her eyes fixed back on the television.
"Okay, it wasn't so bad." He said as he sighed and laid backwards.
"So, what about you, how's acting and writing?"
"Worth the while experience. I made some friends, some enemies, I am wealthy by my own hands and not just by being a prince to an unknown kingdom and I am loved by over fifty million fans so I would say I am doing great."
"We're both doing great. We are doing what we wanted for ourselves and we're having the time of our lives but, I feel something is missing, don't you?"
"To be honest, I don't know Zee., I am at a grey area right now but I know what I want; I never wanted to lose your friendship so with a hazy mind I got on a plane and came back to you after jumping off it. I got a contract to writing for Archer's."
"Really?" Zara asked as she eyed him in excitement. Lucien had always wanted to write for Archer's and now after four years of being a multi million dollar bookseller, he had a contract with them. She was happy for her friend.
Lucien nodded to her question. Zara immediately gave him a side hug. "So happy, Lucy. Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve."
"Yeah, Zee. Can't wait either." He gave her a smile but she stared deep in his eyes to know it was just a facade. She didn't question him though.
"So back to my plot to show you how sorry I really am." The doorbell dinged. "Right, your suitcase is here." Lucien said as he stood to his feet and walked to the door.
He opened the door and collected the suitcase and thanked the man.
"What the…"
"Told you it was a secret. Now you can either get ready or we leave now. Choice is yours, Mi lady?"
"My movie, Lucy?" She asks as she gets up.
"You'll watch it on the computer."
She smirked, knowing she was going to have the time of her life. "Then let's hit the road, actor."
"Your wish is my command, Mi Lady." He said as he did a dramatic bow before going to retrieve his already packed suitcase. "Ready?"
"Ready."
