Broken-Barry Allen

Chpt.10

Barrys POV
I haven't been to work in 2 weeks. I haven't been to Star Labs in almost 3 weeks. Everyone is worried about me but I don't care. The one time I got happiness, ended as quickly as it began. It's like the universe is trying to keep me from having a good life. I'm still the Flash only sometimes. I don't wear my comms I just fight the crime on my own.

Cisco calls me everyday but I don't answer. I sit at my house and cry. Everything good in my life is always taken away. I start to get angrier and angrier. I find myself running around the city faster than I've ever gone. I run and run getting even more frustrated as I think about everything that has happened. I run into an abandoned building to see I figure standing there in the dark.
"Hello?" I ask

"Nice to see you Barry."
I see the figure walk into the light.

"Snart?!"

"Yes Barry it's me and I'm here to help you."

"Why would I need your help."

"Because I know what you've been going through with your little girlfriend and how she cheated on you....twice."

"Shut up Snart leave me alone."

"I'm afraid I can't do that Barry."
After those words I feel scorching pain in my arms and legs. He had a cold gun and shot me.
"Arghh"

"Barry I'm only going to try and help you. You see you are angry and I know. But the Flash doesn't hurt people. Barry Allen is a good guy. Well I can't tell you don't want to be."

"What's are talking about Snart I save lives."

"Yet you can't help to save your own."
I listen to what Snart was saying. Maybe he's right?
My friend don't really care about me. They care about the Flash. Wells never cared about me. Maybe Snart has a point. I don't always have to be the good guy. My friends expect me to push away all my problems. But I can't anymore.
"Your right Snart."I said knowing I was doing wrong. But I was so far in the dark I didn't want to come back to the light.

"Ah Barry I knew you would come to your senses."

Snart uses a heat gun to melt the ice off of me.
"Well then my job here is done." He says.

"See you soon Barry."

After hearing everything Snart has said and what I was thinking. I made my decision. But first I need to act like the hero. Then I'll show everyone who I truly am.
