Chpt.16

Cisco POV
"BARRY!" I yelled.

"What Cisco?!" Barrys asked concerned.

"Look at my phone, we need to get to the hospital!" I show him my phone and he starts to tear up.

"Let's take my car come on Barry. I don't want you running like this." I tell him. I saw that he broke down and didn't want him running like that.

"Ok Cisco. Let's go!" Barry said as we walked to the car.
*time skip at hospital*
Barrys POV
Why? Why? Why? Just as Caitlin and I were going to have a fresh start. Ronnie. I know he did this on purpose. I know he's trying to ruin things. Maybe I'm jumping into conclusions but I know somethings not right. Me and Cisco just got to the hospital. We got up to the receptions desk.
"Excuse me do you know if Caitlin snow is here?!" I saw frantically.

"Yes. But sir she is injured and the doctors are working with her you cannot see her right now." The lady responded.

"Please. I need to" I say.

"You can visit her once she is resting." She says.

"Ok. Thank you ma'am." Cisco responded for me.
*time skip 1 hour*

"Hello? Are you two for Miss Caitlin Snow." The doctor asks walking up to us.

"Yes sir. Is she ok?!" Cisco asks.

"I'm afraid that her recovery won't be fast. She was an inch away from death. But we have tried our best. Unfortunately, she may never walk again." The doctor said in a sad tone.

I couldn't focus. My vision was blurry. Everything was muffed. I couldn't believe what was happening to Caitlin. This is my fault. I should've picked her up. Maybe we should've stayed at Star Labs then none of this would of happened. But Ronnie. I need to find him. Ask him what the hell happened. Thoughts racing in my brain. I started to panic. I was breathing heavily. I could hear a muffled voice telling me to calm down but I couldn't. The world started to spin and go black.
Cisco POV
After I talked to the doctor I turned my focus to Barry. I could see him start to collapse a rush to his side but I was too late. His head hit the ground.
"BARRY!" I yelled

"Barry wake up!!" I start to shake his shoulders to try and wake him. I see his eyes start to flutter.

"Cisco?" He says weakly.

"Barry are you ok?! You passed out dude." I tell him. I could see a look of worry on his face.

"Is Caitlin ok?"

"She's still getting help from the doctors. We won't be able to see her until tomorrow. you should go home get some rest." I say.

"No I won't leave Cait. I have to be here when she wakes and when I can see her." Barry says.

"Ok fine. I won't fight you on this but please don't wear yourself out." I tell him as I start to get up from the seat. I walk out the door and to my car. I drive off home still worried about Caitlin and Barry. I think to myself. Barry isn't going to take this well. What if Caitlin won't recover? I can't live without my best friend. Even if she's done bad things in the past.
*time skip the next day.*
I wake up and immediately get dressed and head out to the hospital. Once I get there I look around to find Barry. But I don't see him. I walk to the front desk.
"Do you know where Mr.Allen is he stayed here overnight?"

"He is in room 34 with Caitlin Snow. Are you visiting." The lady asks.

"Uh.. Yeah I mean yes can I go see her?"

"Yes. Take this pass please." She says.
I grab the pass and walk to the run. I walk in to see Caitlin sleeping and Barry in the chair next to her. Barry. He looked dead. His eyes were red and puffy with dark circle under them. I don't think he got any sleep last night. His hair was messy and he was still in last nights clothes.
"Hey Barr." I say

"Oh hey Cisco." Barry said. It looks like he'd just been crying.

"What the update on Cait?"

"Cisco. S-he's s-he's in a coma. The doctors say she may never wake up." Barry starts to cry. I look at Caitlin and a wave of sadness comes over me. I walk over to her and whisper in her ear.
"Come on Cait I know you can do it. Please wake up. For Barry. For me. You are my best friend I don't know what if so without you. Me you and Barry are a team. We love you. Please Caitlin wake up."
