CHAPTER 3 (RALPH)

----tulad ng aking pangako, eto na po ang aking UD.. tapos ko na rin maedit ang ibang chapt.. sana magustuhan nyo.. and makarelate kayo.. UD ko po everyday or every other day.. busy rin po kasi ako sa school hehe.. salamat readers..-----

"sir cancelled po ang flight nyo..."

"whaatt?! no way Brenda! do something!"

hindi pwede to.. ready na ko.. sabi nya kahapon ok na ang lahat. mga 9pm pa nga daw... what now?im all set.. my things are packed up and my files are settled.. i did everything for one day.. ayokong magpasko dito.. it's 5pm in the afternoon.. 7 hours before Christmas... at mas lalong ayoko na magnew year dito.. kailangan ko na makaalis agad.. nakakainis naman! nakakapagod... ngayon ko naramdaman ang pagod..

"kung di na kita mapipigilan, i want you to know na mahal na mahal kita.. i will always love you.. and i will never regret the day we met.."

PATAY NA!!anong oras na!!nakatulog ako!! parang may kumausap pa saken... ano ba namang panaginip yan pati yun pinipigilan ako... tumingin ako sa relo ko... 7:30pm na.. ang haba rin pala ng naitulog ko. masyado akong napagod...

riiing..riiinngg...

"hello? Mandy...?" si Mandy nga ba to.. di ko nakita ang number..

"hey bro!! this is Ralph! i got my new number.. wag na mag init ang ulo mo.. i was the person behind your delayed flight..sabi kasi saken ng secretary mo nagagalit ka na..nakakatawa ka.."

"whaat??bakit mo ginawa yun?! im in a hurry to settle the flight!tapos.."

"easy bro!! just wanna hang out bago ka umalis and besides may ipapadala ko sayo for my girlfriend in the Philippines.."

napakamot na lang ako sa ulo...mapang asar talaga to.. tatawa tawa pa kala nya nakakatuwa magpakahirap mag ayos ng mga kailangan then papacancel nya...pero wala na ko magagawa..minsan na lang naman mag aya si Ralph.. matagal tagal na rin naman akong di nakakainom.. at hindi nakakahang out with my friends and relatives.. im so busy with the company and of course, with Mandy..before...speaking of Mandy.. sya ang laman ng panaginip ko kanina.. i want to talk to her.. but i dont want to initiate..

"hey bro! still there?"

"ha?ah..ya..." may kausap nga pala ko sa phone..i almost forgot..

"same place bro!i'll bring some chicks.. you'll bring Mandy?"

"what?a..ahmm.. she's busy.." hindi pa rin pala nya alam ang nangyari.. bakit hindi sinabi ni Mandy..

"ok then..see you..bye!"

kahit gusto kong tumanggi kay Ralph, di ko pa rin magawa.. saka he sounds so excited.. he's my cousin.. and he was one of the people who helped me get out of my darkest days.. he was also the one who introduced Mandy to me, the first time I went here in Canada..silang dalawa ang sumundo sa akin sa airport.. they were both models..until now..

actually, Ralph and his family became my family since the day i decided to go here for good..

napaisip tuloy ako.. tingin ko I have to spend time with them.. matagal ko na rin namang di nakakausap si Mommy Grace, Ralph's mom.. siya ang dahilan bakit ganito na ang buhay ko..

i was once an ordinary teenager boy 5 years ago.. pero ngayon, sino mag aakala na i am the owner of one of the famous and high profit company here in Canada with 250 branches all over the world..

mas mayaman pa ko sa pinangarap kong maging ako when i was a little boy.. but.. im not happy... i've never been happy.. i feel so empty..

RALPH'S POV

Mike is going into something.. he will not go back to the Philippines unless he encountered things he cant handle.. i know him.. ibang iba na siya ngayon pero when trouble comes, the same MIKE pa rin siya.. isang mahinang MIKE na kilala ko na noon pa..

Brenda told me about his plan and she told me that she saw Mike crying in his room.. i'm glad Brenda is always there for him whenever Mandy is not around... so Brenda and I had a plan..

*flashback*

i had a headache from the gig yesterday and i cant even get up.. until a call from my landline forced me..

"a..hello?"

im still dizzy.. i cant absorb anything..

"Sir Ralph, this is Brenda... i just want to inform you that Sir Mike is asking you to take charge of the company for a few months.."

"MONTHS???? BUT WHY???!!" i was really shocked of what i have just heard.. anong kalokohan to?! NOT NOW MIKE!!!I WILL KILL THAT GUY! Alam nman nyang wala ako kaalam alam at interest sa company then all of a sudden i'll take over??!!

"Sir, he's planning to go back in the Phillipines..."

"Philippines?...when??"

i started to panic... he's serious.. i know him..

"tomorrow evening Sir.. before Christmas.. he's all set sir.."

i need to know his plans. i am protecting my cousin.. im older than him, 3 years, i guess? and.. he needs me.. i will do something..

"Brenda, can I ask a favor?"

"of course sir.. about what sir?"

"help me..hold his flight.." i said to her frankly.. i cant see her but i can feel that she hesitates to do it.. Mike will get mad for sure..

"dont worry, you're not involved her.. you dont know anything.. is that clear?" i instructed her to pretend as if she doesn't know my plan.. she doesn't really know at all.. then she was convinced..

*end of flashback*

something is going on.. i may not know the whole story but i know Mandy is involved here.. they need to settle this.. Mike should not go back.. i have to stop him.. for his own sake.. Mandy should not give him up..
