- Where Am I? -

Gon POV

    Oof.

    Ow... that hurt. Where am I?

    I got up from where I fell and looked at my surroundings. I was in an alley, and no one else was around.

    Wait. No one else is around?

    "Killua...?!" I saw no signs of my best friend. He probably ended up somewhere else. What should I do?

    I started to walk out of the alley, trying to figure out where I was. The place didn't look familiar at all.

    As I walked around the city, I smelled something weird in the air. It was like smoke.

    Smoke? Then I saw a huge fire in the middle of the road.

    Lots of people were trying to get away from it. I ran toward the scene and looked around for any sight of water or liquid, but I didn't see any. Alright, calm down. If I can't put the fire out, then I'll help them all escape!

    "Over here!" I ran to the people and waved my hand, reaching it out. "Grab on! I'll get you out safely!"

    They all did as I said and I was able to pull them free.

    Then I heard a scream. I turned around and saw that fire appeared behind me. More people were screaming and being attacked by... giant monsters?

    No time to think.

    I ran through the fire and kicked the monster thing away from a woman.

    "Are you okay, ma'am?" I asked her.

    She quickly nodded her head and moved out of the way.

    "Now, what are you?" I looked at the monster. It had big muscles, four eyes, and its brain was outside of its head. It also weirdly smelled like cheese.

    All of a sudden, it charged at me. I immediately jumped out of the way and landed behind it. Then I ran to its side and swung my foot at its stomach. The monster staggered a bit.

    "Hey, kid!" Someone yelled at me. I turned to see who it was. It was a man with a fire beard. "What are you doing out here? Get back to your home!"

    "Huh? I was saving someone from that monster thing" I pointed to the monster behind me. "Oh, yeah! It's still there!"

    I turned back around and looked for the monster, but it somehow disappeared. "Where did it go?"

    "Kid. Get back to your house" The fire beard man walked up to me. "This is a situation for the pros to handle"

    "Pros?" Is he a pro hunter like me? "Well, I'm a pro, too!"

    "Excuse me? You're too young to be a pro hero. Stop messing around and get back!"

    Pro hero...? Not a pro hunter? What does he mean?

    Then that monster thing popped out behind the man. "Look out!" I yelled.

    The monster slapped the man away and lunged at me again. I hopped onto its head and punched its brain.

    Oops. Now my hand's bloody.

    The monster tumbled down and didn't get back up.

    "Sir?" I looked for the fire beard guy. He was on the ground to my right with a shocked expression.

    Then he shook his head. "You!" He pointed at me. "Stay next to that building over there! We'll be having a talk after this is all over!"

    "Huh? Why?"
