I dart out of the room before Cristian could try to get on my nerves again. Stopping by my locker to grab my stuff for math and Latin, I notice a folded up piece of parchment paper stuck between my science folder and my music textbook. Looking around to make sure that nobody was watching me, I slip the parchment into my Latin folder and close my locker. I turn to see Cristian standing right in front of me, a smirk glued to his face.
"What do you want?" I say irritably.
Cristian chuckles.
"Trying to talk to you, of course," he replies. "Can't I say something without you critisizing me for once?"
I shrug.
"Hey, I'm not as bad as you think I am," Christian says, looking at me with honesty in his eyes.
"Then why were you being a jerk in English then?" I throw at him.
"Because of my ego, since i'm suppose to be popular," he tells me, sighing at the thought.
"Now you know how I feel sometimes," I whisper, looking down.
"I'm only nice to you because you're pretty, blonde," Cristian said jokingly a moment later.
I punch him in the arm, laughing.
"You're a jerk," I say, looking up at his gorgeous face.
He grins.
"At least my buddies aren't around at the moment," Cristian takes a step closer to me, which makes me blush a little.
"To see you doing what? Flirting with a pretty blond girl?" I ask, starting to feel a little dizzy.
"Just because i'm popular doesn't mean that I have a soft spot for you Ciera," he whispers, wrapping his arms around my waist.
I giggle.
"Didn't know that you even knew my real name," I tell him, feeling like I was in a very good dream.
Cristian smirks and suddenly kisses me. I don't remember much after that, which was probably a good thing. All I knew was that I had been kissed by a sexy sophmore who was one of the most popular guys in the whole school. My life was starting to drift away from the months and months of depressing days, horrid nightmares, and feeling like an outcast.
