"So... Carly doesnt seem uncomfortable, lets stop being all mushy towards each other. It makes me want to barf" Sam implied, "Yeah, unless we need help running away from people who chase after us, like Valerie and guys that chase after you" Freddie replied, Sam agreed, "Dont you like girls who chase after you?" She asked, "Well sometimes but if its just cause of icarly or just to use me I wouldn't want to be with them. Like that time I saved Carly from the taco truck every other girl wanted to be with me because I played "hero" I also want people to like me for me" Freddie explained.

*After school*

Carly, Sam, and Freddie walk out the class when Gibby walks to them. "Congrats guys I never knew both of you actually are willing to date" Gibby said, "What?!" Sam and Freddie said in unison, "Well you know Tanner the football Quarterback and Cody the hottest volleyball captain right?" Gibby assumed they know them, "Yeah! Ohh Cody is so so so HOT!" Carly squealed, "Well apparently not in Sam's eyes, she turned both of them down then the two saw Sam and Freddie cuddling on the floor beside his locker, they said Sam was sitting on Freddie's lap and he was hugging her while on her phone. Anyways, congrats you two!" Gibby congratulated them on their not official relationship and walks away.

Carly smirks and looks at them, "You turned the the hottest dudes in the school down so you could snoodle with Freddie?" She asked, "Well they were being too cocky and they would only want me to date them because I taught them how to play do re mi on the piano which is SO EASY even for babies plus they would just check me out and stuff." Sam explained, "then when we were talking awhile ago, why did Freddie put his arms around you?" Carly adds another question, "Because we thought that maybe you would get uncomfortable when we do those things then you would break us off.. but that apparently didnt work" Freddie implied.

"But we broke that act off so we wont be all mushy with each other because that makes me want to puke. We will do it if theres guys or girls that chase after us which we dont really want" Sam adds on an explenation, "Ohh okay..." Carly nods, they were about to go back home till Carly had to go and pick up some stuff from the faculty because their teacher was too lazy, she left Sam and Freddie behind in the library since thats where the faculty was near at.
Sam stands up and walks to one isle in the library, she didnt look around, its like she knew where she was going... Freddie had a confused look on his face on why Sam was just roaming around

The catch is... she wasnt roaming around, she took something off the shelf, it was a book. She walks back to the place Freddie and her were at and starts to read it, though she didnt start from page one, she opened the book several several pages after chapter 1 that had an icarly bookmark..
The book she was reading was
"Just Listen" by Sarah Dessen..
Freddie was shocked that she was actually reading legitemately, no groaning of complaints, no eyeroll, page ripping, no vandelism, she was just reading it calmly like any other normal human being.

"What are you reading?" Freddie asked trying to peek at what she was reading, "its called Just Listen... I dont know why but for some reason I'm into this book.. weird" Sam implied while furrowing her eyebrows, "I never knew you like reading books..." Freddie added, "Thats the thing... this is the only book I'm willing to read.. so far" Sam was just focused on the book, she was replying to Freddie's questions without giving him eye contact.

About a minute later, every page she flipped.. she wasnt complaining, Freddie was utterly confused with his face in all curled up because in his mind, Sam and Reading dont match up at all!

Freddie's pov

Sam reads?! She can play the piano, guitar, sing, and she reads? I'm shocked... our toughest, intimidating, careless, sometimes disrespectful friend is also musically inclined and reads books, wow... I've never seen that side of her, I then feel a slap. I didn't realize that I was just staring at her, "Why were you looking at me like that you nub?" Sam asked, I rub my cheek since thats the place she slapped me, "I just zoned out! Dont kill me!" I exclaimed while also whispering so people wont be disturbed.

Nobody's pov

Sam gets back to her book, "Why dont you borrow that book? You know instead of keeping it here and for people to steal your bookmark" Freddie suggests, "That wont happen, I have my name on the bookmark so if see it they'll already imagine a big pain when I find out. Even the teachers wont touch it" Sam implied. Carly runs in, "Sorry I took so long, I got caught up with Griffin surprising me awhile ago" she apologized, she turns to look at Sam with confusion, "Freddie am I seeing things or is Sam reading a book?" Carly whispers to Freddie, "She's reading a book. I was shocked too" he replied back.

They all walk to Carly's apartment to shoot icarly..
*After the show*
They were all sitting on the beanbags Carly had in the studio, "I cant believe we'll be in 10th grade soon... I wonder what its like, hopefully my soulmate is hot" Freddie tries to imagine, "I bet your soulmate would HATE being with you" Sam insults him, "But what if you two are soulmates?" Carly interrupts and raised an eyebrow, "I wouldnt date this thing even if it was the last thing I'd do" Sam gestures to Freddie and rolls her eyes, "Yeah like I'd be with you" Freddie rolls his eyes too.

Carly grins evilly, "since I remembered that you two are still faking a relationship, I'm going to take advantage of it" she implied and pulls Freddie's beanbag off of him, "Carly what was that for?!" He exclaimed, Carly whispers to Freddie, "Cuddle with Sam... please?.. for me?" Carly pull out her "please for me" card with puppy dog eyes,  Freddie gives in. Sam didnt care about Carly and Freddie fìghting and she was just on her phone looking at picstagram, she feels Freddie's arms around her on the same beanbag, she shoves him off of her, "I thought we agreed to not do that!" Sam exclaimed, "Carly made me do it!" Freddie replied.. Sam glared at Carly.

"Come on Sam... you are a fake couple and they do those things in a real relationship. I'll buy you 5 fat cakes" Carly bribes her, "Fine..." Sam groans and rolls her eyes, Carly gestures Freddie, he wraps his arms around Sam. Carly was just squealing and taking pictures. Sam was looking through picstagram and saw that there's going to be auditions for roles on a movie called "Best Player" she reads the plot, characters, place for auditions it was after summer break on a Saturday.
Sam stands up, "I gotta go Carls, see ya" she said while running out the door.
