Joel was helping Carly with the routine while Sam and Freddie just watches how she was doing.. She unfortunately can't do spins and jumps but she was able to skate backwards and sorta balance on one foot, though she ends up falling in three seconds. "So... you sure you can do the routine? You were mostly just staying at the sides with Joel" Freddie asked, "Yeah.. I'm.. I-I can do this" Sam replied and skates towards Joel and pulls him to talk privately for awhile, "I- *sigh* I'll do the routine.. but I'm sticking with my original one, which doesn't doesn't have the hydroblade, I'll do the Biellman Layback Spin... w-which is where I keep tripping.." she implied, Joel smiled and nods, "I've only seen you trip or over rotate 2 times... but I've caught you on video doing the routine perfectly 3 times in your own time... you were just pressured from all the competitors you were against.. but I know you can do this. It's just me and two of your best friends watching you this time, no need to be pressured.. and don't you remember that you're the one who taught me how to do a salchow?" Joel replied and chuckled at his last sentence, "Hey I didn't teach you how to do it.. I reminded you on how to do it. So I never taught you in the first place" Sam shakes her head and grins, "Well it still counts. Now... let's go back to them and watch Freddie trip and fall *laughs*" Joel laughed, "You're so evil.. see this is why we're friends on ice" Sam chuckled and they skated back to Carly and Freddie.

It was Freddie's turn to practice. "That was so hard! Trying to spin and jump was hard, so I'll just you know... fling my arms in the right place skate forwards, backwards and probably do forward crossovers" Carly implied, Sam just nods.. she couldn't take her eyes off at Freddie almost falling, she bursts out laughing at him, "Come on.. it's hard to do.. I guess he'll try and just fling his arms and skate around in the right place then pose at the end" Carly chuckles, "But... your routine also needs emotion.. that's why it's called figure skating, it tells a story through the blades, foot work, facial expression, choreography, hand movement, and elements" Sam replied, "How do you know know all this stuff?" Carly asked, "U-uh Joel told me.. that's what we were talking about awhile ago" Sam lied and skated away towards Freddie practicing.. "Okay Sam... you're next, but... this is a different type practice for Sam" Joel implied, Freddie skated away towards Carly. "That was incredibly difficult to do! I kinda did spin... ish?" Freddie muttered to Carly unsure if he did do a spin.. "I know right! But.. how come Sam doesn't have much of spins we tried to practice?" Carly tilts her head in confusion, "Maybe because she doesn't really want it to be hard" Freddie assumed.

Joel stops Sam from skating, "Sam... did you memorize the lyrics in tagalog? because.. I saw your mouth moving when you were practicing your footwork" he asked, Sam slightly chuckled, "Yeah... the time I quit skating, I kept listening to the song then I started memorizing it. This is the only song that isn't in English that I can sing and understand" she implied, Joel smiled.. "Okay... you're done practicing.. you know why? I saw you skating to the song a year ago when I was here in Seattle. My friend owns this rink, so I was visiting them when I saw you doing the routine perfectly.. that's how I know you're improving in this routine" he muttered to her and puts his hand on her shoulder, they both hug.

"Carly.. you start first since you were the first one who practiced, I'll play the song" Carly nods and skates in the rink again, Sam and Freddie watch Carly... 

Carly's pov

Okay.. u-uh.. I skate backwards, yeah seems about right.. Joel is nodding, then I'll do crossovers.. how do you do that again? shoot! too late! Dangit I fell.. get back up! Then I-I uh asked Joel to teach me the eagle, ok here I go... Oh my God! Yes! It was sloppy and I tripped a bit after 3 seconds but I did it! Then pose... jeez I'm out of breath! How do people do this? and how can they do spins without dying?? I don't even know if Sam could do this since she didn't do much..

Nobody's pov

Carly skates back out the rink out of breath, "That was so hard!" she exclaimed while drinking water.. "You did good, atleast you remembered what I taught you about the eagle, though... it should've lasted longer" Joel implied while giving her criticism, "Well it was so hard.. w-well for me it was..." Carly replied, "I mean you.. I-improved..? but.. I have to go with Joel's criticism there. It honestly should've lasted longer" Sam shrugged her shoulders, "Anyways.. you did good. Freddie, It's your turn to show me if I actually taught you something *chuckles*" Joel changed the subject, Freddie nods and skates onto the rink.. 

Freddie's pov

I hear the music start to play, okay.. I'll try the spin.. nope nevermind! I almost lost balance. u-uh skate backwards.. wait... this uh.. this is a backwards crossover! Oh my God! I can do backwards crossovers! O-oh nevermind again.. I fell down.. I then end in a pose. It was a different pose than Carly's. I skate back and oh my chiz! Carly was right! Figure skating is hard! "Carly was right! It's hard as chiz!" I exclaim, Carly nods her head.. but.. Sam was just laughing..

Nobody's pov

"Stop laughing, it's harder than you think.. mad respects for figure skaters" Freddie implied towards Sam, "You did good, you were able to do backwards crossovers" Joel said, "Wait so he doesn't get criticism but I do?" Carly interrupts, "He does... though you were able to do backwards crossovers.. you still kinda you know.... fell" Sam criticized him, Joel nods.. "What do you know about figure skating?" Freddie furrowed his brows, "I know that.. you don't know alot about me" Sam crossed her arms and gave slight grin, "Well... Sam, it's your turn now.. blow us all away" Joel smiled gently, Sam takes a deep breath and walks with her skate on going to the entrance of the rink. "Do you think she can do it? She didn't really practice much" Freddie muttered, "She'll do great... *chuckles* since she's the original" Joel smiled, "What do you mean original?" Carly asked, "You'll see..." said Joel and they look at Sam with her first pose.

Sam's pov 

*sigh* You can do this Sam... you've practiced this song so many times now. I hear the song play.. Just think of... *sigh* your soulmate.. Freddie..

Nobody's pov

Sam starts to skate. Carly and Freddie's jaw drops when she did a split jump and edges, "Oh my chiz!" Carly exclaimed with wide eyes, Joel walks to the entrance of the rink to watch her. Sam replaced the hydroblade with a biellman layback spin, she did it perfectly.. "Perfect Sam!" Joel exclaimed while his arms went up like he just won something.. Sam did the last spin and posed, she was out of breath. She teared up because she finally did it, Joel skates to her and they hug.. "You did it! See... I told you that you can do the biellman spin. You did everything perfectly" he implied while in the hug, they both pulled out the hug then skate back out the rink, Sam was out of breath. Carly and Freddie hug Sam, "Why didn't you tell us that you can figure skate?!" Freddie exclaimed while hugging her tightly, "I quit figure skating because I thought I couldn't do this routine" Sam muttered, "Well you were able to do it now.. you were just tired from all the other practices you had to do for different programs and competitions" Joel pat her head, "How did you... what?! How long did it take you to learn all those moves?" Carly asked, "About two- three months or so.." Sam shrugged her shoulders and Freddie pulls out the hug.. "You did amazing!" Carly hugged her..

It was almost night, Sam, Carly, and Freddie waved goodbye to Joel. Sam and Joel exchanged numbers so both of them could catch up. They all went home..
