It was a Saturday morning, Sam was still fast asleep while Carly was at the island counter. Freddie knocked on the door and walked in, he immediately glanced at Sam, "It's already 10am and she's still sleeping?" he asked, "Shouldn't you know that by now? I want to wake her up but at the same time I don't.. she needs rest, all she ate yesterday was a sandwich and 3 or 4 cups of coffee, she even took down Spencer's spaghetti tacos and a whole ham" Carly implied. They then heard a knock on the door, "Who could be knocking on the door at 10 in the morning?" Carly wondered, she opened the door to see a redhead girl wearing a black top, floral skirt, and sparkly pink flats. "Um.. can I help you?" Carly asked, "I was just going to ask if Sam was here.. she isn't at her house" the redhead girl implied, "She's still sleeping.. um who are you?" Carly asked, "I'm Cat.. Cat Valentine!" Cat smiled, she has a very bubbly personality. Sam woke up and didn't really bother to acknowledge the people there, she immediately went to get some water. While drinking it, she turned around to see Cat there talking to Carly, she chokes on her water. Sam puts her glass down and walks towards Cat and Carly, "Sam!" Cat hugged her, Sam smiled and hugged back.. "Hey Valentine" she uttered, they hugged tightly. "What are you doing here?" Sam asked when she pulled out of the hug, "You texted I and the others if we knew people who had their soulmate ribbons snap, we do" Cat smiled, "So.. you came to Seattle to tell me you knew people who have experienced that?" Sam asked, " Yerp" Cat nod her head, "And you didn't think to text me so that it wouldn't be much trouble to get here?" Sam raised a brow, "Norp" Cat shook her head. Cat then realized that Sam's eyes got darker, "Sam.. your eyes" she furrowed her brows in concern, "I know... um anyways, Carly, Freddie.. this is Cat. She's um one of my Best friends.. no offense Carly, you're still my bestfriend. It's just, Cat and I knew each other since we were three years old" Sam implied, "Ohh... wait, so Cat, you aren't going to come up with some evil scheme to take Sam away from us right?" Carly asked, "Why would I do that? Anybody can have more than one best friend.. and.. Sam cares about you guys, I wouldn't take something like that away from her" Cat answered.

She then received a text from Jade saying they're going to a karaoke place later that day, she said to invite Sam, Carly, and Freddie. "Who wants to go to a karaoke place later? We can tell you some details about the soulmate ribbon there" Cat asked them, "Sure" Carly nods her head, Sam and Freddie agree, "Kk. I have to go now. We'll send you the address of the place later. Byee!" Cat smiled and waved goodbye to Carly and Freddie then hugged Sam, then she left. "So... Freddie, who are you leaning towards to pick?" Carly asked, "Um.. I-I don't know" Freddie stuttered, "Makes sense.." Sam muttered, "What do you mean it makes sense? It makes no sense to me because you're the real soulmate and he doesn't know who to pick" Carly flung her arms around, "Well it makes sense to me.. he likes you and I don't know.. maybe he still likes me but it's hard for him to choose. I already asked him who he would choose, even before we started dating and guess what? He still has no answer.. it's bad enough that he has a time limit of one week" Sam implied while she sat on the couch. "You two do realize that I'm sitting right here and you're talking about me right?" Freddie reminded them, "But anyways, it's hard to choose okay... I mean I've crushed on Carly since the first day we met, and I also have feelings for Sam and it's just *groans* I don't know okay.." Freddie sighed, Sam nodded and she started to open her laptop to see that she was still on her music software, she saves then closes it. "I forgot to ask. What if the soulmate chooses the other person?" Sam asked, "They'll be given another soulmate" Carly replied, Sam nods.. she was tense and she just stared at her shut off computer screen.

"Sam... just asking.. how do you know Cat and Beck? And you said you've known them since you were three years old.. we met when we were 8 years old.." Carly asked, Sam froze and looked up from her laptop. She sighed, "I wasn't originally born here in Seattle.. I was originally born in L.A.. I moved to Seattle when I was about 5 or 6 because my dad left us, Melanie was sent to boarding school and I went with my mom here in Seattle. I had to leave my friends from L.A to go here but we still of course keep in touch, I visited them during summer break, I always visit as much as I can.. so the long times I wasn't here was because I was also with my friends at L.A. Honestly.. no offense but, they know more about me since we've known each other for 13 years. I didn't tell you guys because one time, I heard you two talking when we were in elementary, you said that girls from L.A are too stuck up and spoiled... I thought that maybe I you two wouldn't want to hang out with me anymore because I was from L.A. I did have a fun time there though.. you know.. before the screaming, yelling, and fighting at my old house" Sam hid her face in her hair.. Carly and Freddie's brows were raised, "Sam.. we would never stop hanging out with you even if we knew you're from L.A.. Just asking.. what is it like to live there?" Carly asked, "Well.. other than just going to beaches and hiking up mountains. It's expensive.. that's why we moved here to Seattle. Most of the people who live there is either a struggling actor, musician, comedian, rich people.. like celebrities, and some people who just has a stable family finance and a normal life" Sam answered.

*4pm*

Sam received a text from Cat, saying they were going to pick them up already. The three already took a bath and changed into their usual clothes. Carly was still upstairs, Sam was on the couch with her brows furrowed in worry, looking at the ground, she was biting the inside of her lip, and was fiddling with her fingers. Freddie walks in to see Sam like that, "You okay?" he asked, she immediately stood up.. "It's nothing" she uttered, "Sam I know there's something wrong... well except for getting kicked out of your house, me trying to choose, us breaki- and I should stop talking" Freddie facepalmed, "Look I'm sorry I couldn't say those words faster but it just.. it was hard to-" Sam got cut off.. "Sam.. I know but.. I just- you know it's also hard to accept it. Also it's because I also still might have feelings for Carly but I still also have feelings for you" Freddie hesitated to say it but he managed to say it. Sam pursed her lips for about a second then nods, she takes out a USB and gives it to Freddie, "Listen to this anytime you want to Freddie.. if you ever choose Carly.. i-it.. it's okay" Sam sighed and walked upstairs to Carly. Freddie looked at the USB and groaned in frustration because of himself, he put the USB in his pocket.
