Nobody's pov

Mrs. Benson went out her room with her megaphone, "Wake up! Time for school!" she exclaimed, Sam furrowed her brows then groaned while placing the blanket ontop of her head. "Guys come on wake up! You have school today" Mrs. Benson yelled and Freddie walked out his room, eyes still half asleep, he was walking out while slouching. "Freddie! What did I say about slouching?" Mrs. Benson crossed her arms towards him, "You won't get respect if your back is not erect" Freddie uttered and rolled his eyes and proceed to the bathroom. Sam chuckled then started to slowly open her eyes, taking the blanket off her head to reveal her still curly blonde locks with some slight frizz but not that much frizz. "You still make him say that?" Sam asked, her eyes not fully open, "Of course I do! You always have to keep good and proper posture for people to respect you. You should keep your posture straight too" Mrs. Benson replied and sassed her a bit, "I do keep my posture straight sometimes!" Sam shot her a slight glare, "I don't see you do it at all" Mrs. Benson claimed and crossed her arms, "Yeah but I usually just do it when I-... d-do some hobbies a-and play the piano" Sam cut off, she was about to tell her that she sings.. which she didn't want her to know about.

Freddie walked out the bathroom, his hair was damp, he was shirtless but he was already wearing pants. "Fredward Benson! You can't walk around the apartment shirtless when you know she is here!" Mrs. Benson gestured to Sam, Freddie just rolled his eyes discreetly. "Go change into a shirt this instant" Marissa demanded her son, "Mom, Sam won't drool over me. Look, she isn't even paying attention" Freddie told his mom, Mrs. Benson looked at the blonde that was just on her phone. She called Sam to look at Freddie to see if she would drool over him, "Why did you make me look at Freddie shirtless? Do you think I'd drool over him? *snickers* Yeah that's not happening" Sam implied then looked back on her phone, Mrs. Benson was expecting a lustful look from Sam but she was wrong. Marissa wanted to prove that girls that go for Freddie just use him for his smarts or just flirt with him, but Sam didn't show any of those signs, she didn't look him up and down. Freddie walked to his room to go change into a polo.

Mrs. Benson's pov

Samantha Puckett didn't even look him up and down! She just stared in confusion! I've allowed Freddie to work out and he has gotten very strong and he's more masculine, how come Sam didn't acknowledge that? I mean it is great that she isn't staring at Freddie that way but no girl I've met had turned down an opportunity to look at a guy shirtless. I need to know her standards, does she think my son isn't good enough for her?!

"Sam, let me ask you a question... What are your standards in a guy to be in a relationship with you?" I asked, she sighed.. "If this is about my statement saying that I wouldn't drool over Freddie when I saw him shirtless then here's my answer. I don't care much about a guy's looks, I mean I also may have standards but I don't care about those stuff unlike Carly" She answered, that makes slight sense but it still hasn't answered my main question, "Why is that?" I ask, "Because.. if it's in a relationship, I don't want it to be a short term thing anymore ya know? I don't care if the guy is "hot", if he doesn't have a good personality, if he doesn't have loyalty, if he just uses you or cheats on you, then that isn't a relationship, well to me... that would never be a relationship, that'd just mean you were played" She replied.. I-I was speechless, Samantha Puckett has good standards!

Sam checks the time on her phone then stands up and walks to the bathroom with her towel and clothes. Mrs. Benson just had to check her bag, there was a butter sock in there, a black leather jacket, fat cakes and her laptop. "Um, mom why are you looking through Sam's bag?" Freddie asked when he walked out his room, "N-no reason! I just don't really trust her that much yet" Mrs. Benson implied then gave him two sandwiches to bring to school, one for Sam and one for him, "Just so you know mom, there is nothing and I repeat nothing that's happening between me and Sam. Sure we're soulmates but we're just friends..-ish" Freddie told his mom, "Good" Mrs. Benson replied and went to the kitchen to make tea.
