After school. Sam, Freddie, and Carly were walking to the locker of the two girls, it was awkward and it had alot of tension. Sam was dragging her feet, she was exhausted. While walking Sam heard a ring on her phone, it was Cat.. it was hard for her to decline, but she did, then she got a call from Robbie, she declined it too. Carly and Freddie were suspicious on who was calling Sam but yet again, they didn't want to ask, Sam hears another ring, this time it was from Andre.. she groaned then answered it, she walked away for a bit.. all Carly and Freddie heard was "What do you want?" said Sam. Carly reached her locker, "That was petty of you to do" she uttered, "What?" Freddie asked, "I mean, getting mad at Sam for sabotaging your application" Carly replied, "You're seriously siding with her over this? She ruined my chances-" Freddie gets cut off by Carly closing her locker, "I mean you couldn't have just kept your relationship out of a fight about your academics? She already thought you still had feelings for me when you were dating. Also didn't you realize that her eyes are getting darker and darker, it used to be light blue, now it's a dark blue gray. I've only seen those eyes when she talked about her dad leaving her" she implied then walked over to Sam, she was still talking to Andre but she hung up. 

Freddie turned around to focused his eyes on Sam, she smiled when Carly was talking to her.. he knew it was fake. Carly got a text from Spencer and she turned around, Sam went from a neutral face to a frown, she walks to her locker.. though, Freddie was standing beside it, she ignores him. She saw that she still had left over coffee in her locker then grabbed it. Freddie furrowed his brows on how much coffee she had consumed that day, he reluctantly grabbed it from her and of course, he receives a slap on the arm "Dude what the hell?!" she exclaimed, "How many coffee have you drank today?" Freddie asked while he was holding the cup up, "I-I don't know, 4-5 cups.. *groans* why do you care? It's the only thing that keeps me from thinking about you!" Sam slaps a hand on her mouth then furrowed her brows sadness, she reaches for her coffee cup, shuts her locker, then walks away. "Sam wait for us!" Carly ran to catch up with her, Freddie was frozen.. the words Sam said echoed in his mind for a minute then he followed.

When they were walking halfway to Bushwell Plaza and halfway to Sam's house, "I need to get something back at home, I'll meet you back at Bushwell for iCarly" Sam stated then walked away to cross the road.

Sam's pov

The only thing that could help me feel better is to just give him a USB of the song I wrote about him.. It's the only way I can sincerely tell him that I love him even though we broke up. I just need to get my recorded song which is in my USB, it's likely that my mom locked the door so I'll just climb in the window... like always. 

Nobody's pov

At Bushwell, Carly suspected that Freddie was tense "You know.. you could get back together" she said while sitting down beside him, he looked at her with his brows furrowed in guilt but at the same time in disagreement.. "Come on.. she loves you" Carly added, "I-I don't know it's just.." he stared into Carly's eyes, though it didn't feel the same with Sam to him. He leaned in and kissed her for 2 seconds, she was caught surprised, he pulled away then Carly slapped his face, "Freddie! What the heck?! W-why would you-" she get's cut off, "I-I'm sorry! For some reason I had the urge to! How do we tell Sam about this?" Freddie asked, "You don't have to tell me anything" they heard Sam standing there, her face was filled with disappointment yet, she understood the reason why he did it. 

Sam shed a tear, "S-Sam I" Freddie stood up, they stared at each other.. though it wasn't the same. They felt the ribbon tied around their fingers again then... it snapped in half, Sam and Freddie got snap out their trance and their eyes widen. Carly saw their faces "W-what happened?!" she asked, "What does it mean if our ribbons break?" Freddie asked, Carly runs to the computer "It says here that the 'soulmate ribbon' is very rare to be seen by two soulmates. It depends on how strong your bond with your soulmate is. I guess you two had a strong bond, um it also says that if you see it for more than three times, it is almost impossible to break but it still could be broken. How many times have you seen your soulmate ribbons?" she asked, "Um.. let's just say more than three times" Freddie answered, Sam was texting Jade and the others asking if they knew people in the same situation. "Okay.. well... It says that is isn't really a big deal if your soulmate ribbon breaks if you have only seen it one or two times, it could still be fixed but in your case we don't know what will happen if your ribbon breaks since you've seen it more than three times. It says that if your ribbon breaks even if you have seen it for more than three times, it, oh it can still be fixed... the cause though is because let's see um... both of you still has feelings for each other, but.. one soulmate also has... f-feelings for.. a-another.." Carly stuttered at the last sentence, Sam frowned and almost dropped her phone by the looseness of her grip.

"W-what happens if we don't fix it?" Sam asked in a fragile voice.. she was shaking. Freddie looked at Sam, he felt guilt creep up on him. "Uh.. it says that the time limit we used to have to find our soulmate will change, it's going to change into the time limit for your soulmate to choose between you or the other person he/she still has feelings for. The time limit is until a week.. if the soulmate can't make up their mind then one of them will...." Carly pauses, "Will what?" Sam asked, Carly turned to look at them in horror and sadness. "Will either.. d-die, be set far away from their original soulmate and not have a soulmate anymore, one of their loved ones will suffer an illness, or.. one of the soulmates will live in fear" she said, "The person who isn't the original soulmate a.k.a the other person who the soulmate has feelings for will just be given a new soulmate if the soulmate has chosen to be with his/her original soulmate, or that person will stay with their original partner but the problem is that... if that person had already broken up, divorced, or was widowed by their soulmates and weren't in good terms, then.. they'll be given a new soulmate, and the last one says.. the person will be in a coma for two weeks. This will only happen if one of you can't choose who to be with." Carly added, Sam and Freddie stood there frozen. 

"Can we cancel iCarly for today? This is alot to take in" Sam uttered, she was tense and scared. Carly nods and posted an announcement. Sam's phone started ringing, it was Jade.. she declined. Jade just texted her saying that the gang will go to Seattle to help, Sam wasn't able to see the text since she was in deep thought. "Freddie... you have to pick" Carly looked at Freddie, Sam was now just lying down on the couch, groaning and a pillow was on her face. "What's the point of him picking? We already know who he's going to pick" she claimed, "Wait why are you girls pinpointing me?" Freddie flung his arms up in the air, "I don't have feelings for another guy Freddie. It was obvious you still had feelings for Carly. I've seen your face when you look at her and- honestly I'll just shut up and sleep now" Sam shifts in a sleeping position and immediately falls asleep, Carly and Freddie saw a tear roll down from her eyes while her eyes were closed. "You better make up your mind Freddie." Carly walks up the steps of the stairs, leaving Freddie downstairs in worry.
