"Can they shut up finally?" I frowned while walking next to Five. You know how annoying it is to guide two tipsy older siblings through a city full of judgemental people? All those stares we got along the way. I felt really embarrassed. But these two seemed to not mind.
They were laughing loudly all the way here. Slurring words in different languages that I bet they didn't even understand. I walked a bit behind them next to Five who was seriously fed up with them. This was even worse than the encounter with the cult.
"I am praying for the same thing," Five mumbled. He let out a growl when the two reached the Tv shop and barged in.
"Is anyone here? Hello?" Allison called loudly through the whole building, surely catching everyone's attention.
"Le petit mort, le petit mort."
"What? You don't speak French." Allison pointed out with a laugh just as Five and I made our way through the door.
"It's 'the little death'." Klaus sassed, thinking he is really smart at that given moment. Funny thing is he asked me to translate that phrase to him when we were kids and he tattooed it on the ankle. Don't ask me why, if I knew why Klaus did at least half of the things he does I would be put in the mental hospital.
"Klaus you will be mort soon enough if you don't shut up," I threatened, seriously fed up with the childish antics.
"Well someone is a bit cranky today." I rolled my eyes at Klaus' statement and look up to see that Diego and Luther got Vanya. I just hope this won't be too awkward. "Oh, wow. I know this is impossible, but...did we all get sexier?" Klaus pulled down his glasses and waved at Diego who rolled his eyes but smiled back. What is this some reminiscing moment? There is the end of the world out there people, quit staring at each other you can do that once we are all granted a next day to live.
"Vanya," Allison said shocked. Wow, someone sobered up quite quickly. Can't someone do the same with Klaus?
"I can't believe I have a sister. Well, another one," Vanya said looking down at me. I sighed. What am I supposed to do? Everyone walked downstairs and Vanya went to immediately stand in front of Allison smiling softly at our sister. What a turn of tables compared to when we were kids.
"I missed you."
"Thank God someone did." Vanya laughed and the two sisters hugged.
"And now I feel left out," I mumbled under my breath kicking the imaginary rock on the ground.
"Aw, don't be sad little sis," Klaus said throwing himself at me.
"Oh god." I almost fell under his weight when he put his whole body around my shoulders. He slowly pulled me towards the two girls crushing me in a group hug with them.
"Hi," Vanya mumbled looking at me.
"Hey," I answered allowing myself a soft smile.
"Hey, Vanny." Klaus joined in the greeting kissing the top of Vanya's head. We broked the hug and I turned to Vanya feeling like I owe her an apology for what happened back that day.
"Vanya, I...listen...I am sorry to lash out on you like that. I guess I just lost my temper with you there for a while. I didn't mean to yell and I certainly didn't mean anything I said. I just...it left my mouth in a spur of a moment." I was genuinely sorry for what happened. I was especially sorry for bringing it up so emotionlessly even though Vanya had no clue about most of the things that happened that day. I should have just said I forgive her and not dwell in the past like an immature child everyone thinks I am.
