Scarlett...

"Are you sure you want to do this with me? You can wait for me here if you want," Five asked for like a tenth time in the past three minutes. We are in Wisconsin in the year 1982. This time we used the suitcase from the Handler. We are here to do this one simple thing for Handler and then we can go home into our timeline. All of us. And no Apocalypse here or there. Sounds easy right? Wrong. This easy task is to kill a bunch of people that I don't even know and according to all things they never did anything wrong to us. Yet we are still killing them. Yay.

I don't really know whether I am here just as moral support for Five or if I came here to actually participate. I guess I'll figure it out on the spot. Tho seeing as Five would rather leave me in some bush right now getting inside will be a great task.

"I can handle seeing blood Five. What I am more worried about is you psyching out." Five tilted his head to the side confused by my new found word.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Um don't know, need to find a definition for it, but in general that you will act weird." I clarified and we walked towards the building. Five got almost knocked down by some man in some national garb.

"How do I ever act weird? Have you seen yourself under pressure?" Five asked, raising an eyebrow while opening the door for me. I frowned and remained silent knowing I was actually pretty terrible under pressure sometimes. Especially when I was doing something that I wasn't too sure about, I was all fidgety.

Instead of answering I just walked inside with Five following shortly after. The music coming from one of the rooms was heard through the whole hotel or whatever this place it. I looked around the place but come on how am I supposed to know where the meeting is held?

"Any clue?" I asked quietly.

"Nope, but I'm gonna ask," Five said and immediately aimed his way towards the lady by the desk.

"Well, that is the first man to ever ask for directions," I mumbled and followed after him. He stepped closer to what I suppose is an information table, with all those flyers and informative stuff, and some woman was standing there organizing the letters in the information board and so Five decided to interrupt her peace and quiet.

"Excuse me." The woman got startled by the sudden voice. She turned to us. Her orange hair looks a bit electrocuted. But I guess that is just a sense of fashion here. But man those curls are really something. How does she fit a hat there?

"Uff da. You snuck up on me there." She said in a bit squeaky voice, but not so annoying as I would have expected. "If you're looking for the cookies, we don't put 'em out till 3:00." She seems nice but cookies really? But then again I wouldn't mind something sweet.

"We can hardly wait," I said with a forced smile.

"Uh, do you happen to know where the Midwest Soybean Society is meeting?" Five asked standing a bit closer to the lady.

"Sure do. Muskellunge Banquet Room." The lady answered sweetly and smiled at both of us. "You two looking for your mom? She in for the convention?" Seeing as Five was focused on something down the hall I decided to act along so the lady won't get suspicious.

"Yup, mommy is working really, really hard and she told us to come to wait for her here," I answered with a forced smile of a little child. The lady smiled kindly at me and I think that I might puke from all this positivity.

"Hey, could I get some change?" Five asked handing the woman some paper money. What is he doing?

"Oh, sure, I'll just look in my purse." She dug into the blue purse she had around her waist. "Only a nickel and a couple of dimes. Oh! You...are...in...luck, mister." She said handing Five some coins. He chuckled softly, looking down in his palm to count the money.
