A/N - Another one for BJ, because I just love my cuddle bug💖
I smile as BJ chases Lydia around the house. "Okay! That's enough!" I yell as BJ picks up a knife.
"Aww! You're mean!" BJ and Lydia complain but then run after each other. I sigh and walk up the stairs to the bathroom. I close the door and lock it behind me. I take of my jumper and place it in the towel rack. Breathing deeply, I pick up the razor and hold it against my skin. I never loved you. My ex's voice races around in my head and is joined by my old 'friends.' You know we all hate you, right? Just leave. Their voices cause tears to drip down my face. "Y/N?" BJ yells from the other side of the door. "Are you okay? I'm coming in in 5!" Tears fall quicker. You're a freak, I think as I cut my left arm. No wonder they left you, who could love you?
"4..."
You're nothing but a burden. As my vision fades in and out, I cut my right arm. Get out of my life.
"3..."
You did this to yourself. I wince as I slip my jumper on the sleeves brushing against the cuts. I hate you. I'm sorry it took me so damn long to realise that.
"2..."
You lost your chance. I try washing the blood of the razor, cutting my fingers in the process. I'm done trying to help you.
"1..."
Sorry doesn't fix everything. BJ teleports into the bathroom as I put on a fake annoyed face. "Are you okay?" He asks quietly. I don't care about you, no one does. I nod and put on a fake smile, ignoring the voice in my head. He holds my hand softly, but confusion appears on his face and he pulls his hand away. He looks at his hand and worry replaces the confusion. He grasps my hand and turns it over. He spots the cuts on my fingers and, slowly and carefully, washes them under the water. Then he notices the razor, slightly tinted red. Tears start to stream down my face like a river escaping a dam as he pulls off the jump. "Why?" He asks, hair a deep blue mixed with an even deeper purple.
"I'm sorry, BJ," I whisper as he wraps his arms around me.
"Shh. It's okay. I'm here for you," He whispers back patting my hair softly.
