Loki's P.O.V

"Do you think that we'll be together forever?" Y/N asks me in the recording.
"Yes," Comes my hesitant reply. That single word still brings tears to my eyes.

"You're not supposed to be in here." A voice calls from behind me. I turn around, about to make a snappy remark but hesitate as the maids eyes widen in surprise. "Oh! Prince Loki! I'm so very sorry," She says bowing her head, her long ginger curls falling in front of her face like a curtain.
"Its fine. What are you doing in here anyway?" I ask, tilting her chin up and we lock eyes. Her bright blue ones to my emerald green ones. "I used to be Lady Y/N's personal maid before she was banished to Midgard," She explains before adding. "I come here to dust, hoping that one day she will return from banishment" I watch curiously as she walks around dusting and organising Y/N's bookshelf.
"Did she ever talk about me?" I ask hope clear in my voice. She pauses turning back to me and looking me up and down. I watch as she purses her lips in thought. "Well... She talked about 'Reindeer Games, Rock of Ages, Frosty The Snowman' and 'Prince Lonely' but never Prince Loki," She says, a smile sneaking onto her face. I chuckle lightly. "Well I am all of the above," I say, smiling at the memory of Y/N's annoying nicknames.

"I remember Y/N saying telling me to tell you something, right before she left. It was..." She pauses, deep in thought. "She told me to tell you that she could be right under your nose and you wouldn't notice." The maid looks at the clock above Y/N's bedroom door and walks towards the door. "Well. I've got to be on my way now. It was a pleasure meeting you, Prince Loki," She says, one hand on the door frame ready to leave. She waves and starts to leave. "Wait," I say, the maid pausing and turning back to me. "What's your name?" I ask the first sensible question that appears in my mind.
"Emily," She says smiling. I smile at her. "I hope we meet again, Emily," I say. Emily smiles and a mischievous glint flashes in her eyes quickly. If it had been any faster, I wouldn't have noticed it. "Goodbye Loki," Emily replies and spins in her heel, walking out of the room. I stand there, my mind wondering back to Y/N and I drop onto her bed. I sigh putting my head in my hands, wishing Y/N would come back already.

Y/N P.O.V

*A little earlier*

What the hell is wrong with Loki?! Getting me exiled like that?! I think in annoyance, walking around the Asgard Palace's many halls and corridors in my maid illusion. I head towards my old room, hoping to get a book, when I hear what sounds like my voice come from inside. My heart speeds up as I look inside to see Loki with tears in his eyes. I gasp quietly as I hear our old videos playing. Collecting myself, I walk into the room, making sure to mask my voice. "You're not supposed to be in here," I say as Loki turns around, obviously not wanting to be disturbed.
