The small vehicle stopped in front of the salon and Lan Xing and Hong Yue went out. Each customer will get to have a ride and will take them anywhere inside the mall.

"Do you want to have your hair cut, too?" Hong Yue asked as they entered the salon. However, they saw the seats are all full. "Oh. It seems like we have to wait..." he said and saw the people waiting on the couch. The couch is also full.

An employee of the salon saw them and she politely smiled. "I'm sorry, sirs, but we are fully booked." She said before she eyed Hong Yue who's obviously the one who will have his hair cut. Her brows couldn't help but secretly raise when she saw his gloomy appearance, particularly his outdated clothes. She gave him her professional smile before she spoke. "If you want, I can recommend you to a good place." She told him.

The ridicule in her eyes didn't escape Lan Xing's gaze. "Where's your manager?" he asked.

"Sir...?" she said and turned to Lan Xing. "May I know what's the problem, sir?" she asked.

"I told you to call your manager. Are you deaf?" Lan Xing said as he sharply looked at her.

Her face immediately paled and the other customers couldn't help but glance at them. "R-right away, sir!" she answered and immediately left in fright. She thought, if she dared stay any longer, he'll kill her!

"Hey..." Hong Yue was speechless by Lan Xing's action. "You don't need to scare her. We can go to the other salon – " he said.

Lan Xing cut him off. "The other salon here is poor compared to this salon." He said as he led Hong Yue to the couch which the waiting customers immediately vacated when they saw Lan Xing's glare.

"Huh? Then, why would they still stay in this mall?" Hong Yue asked as he sat. "Thank you." He didn't forget to tell the other customers who gave up their seat.

"They're friends with the CEO." Lan Xing answered as he coolly sat on the armrest.

The other customers couldn't help but stare at them. He's like a knight in shining armor waiting for his queen! They thought.

"Eh? Really?" Hong Yue said. "How did you know..." he was about to ask but was cut off when the manager finally arrived.

"What's going on... ha!" the manager gasped when he saw Lan Xing. His face immediately paled when he saw the displeasure on Lan Xing's face upon seeing him and the female employee earlier. "What the hell did you do?!" he hissed at his employee.

"E-eh...? But, the salon is full and they looked poor..." she said.

The manager's head almost exploded in anger. "'Poor'?! That's the CEO's son! Our future boss!" he told her. Seeing her horrified expression, he gnashed his teeth in anger. "Leave!" he told her before he turned and wore a smile as he approached Lan Xing. "I'm sorry for my employee's displeasing performance, sir. Who would have his hair cut?" he said and smartly looked at Hong Yue who was sitting on the couch alone while the other customers stood on the side. His eyes are filled with respect. He's not an idiot like his employee to not recognize Hong Yue as Lan Xing's friend. Judging from Lan Xing's actions, he highly values Hong Yue, too. "Sir." He called. "As an apology, I will personally cut your hair." He told him and smiled.

Finally, the dissatisfaction on Lan Xing's face disappeared. He looked at the manager with appreciation. "Give him the best haircut." He told him.

"Yes, sir!" the manager immediately answered and slightly bowed before he turned to Hong Yue and led him away.

"Eh? Lan Xing..." Hong Yue called as he turned to him.

"I'll wait here." Lan Xing told him before he occupied the whole couch.

Hong Yue didn't have the time to think of Lan Xing's actions since the manager already started talking to him. He's really a talkative person, thus, Hong Yue had forgotten the incident earlier while he had his hair cut.

Meanwhile, Lan Xing was eyeing the other customers while the employees were coldly sweating. They started to remember now. Lan Xing is their big boss' son! They only had seen his face once, but they would never forget his lazy expression while Zhou Tianshan explained to him the new features of the mall. Then, he walked out in front of him when he reached the peak of his boredom. No one dared act like that to Zhou Tianshan unless he's his son!

"Mr. Lou's second son. Ms. Peng's daughter..." Lan Xing said as he looked at the customers one by one with a cold gaze while stating their identities.

It's an honor to be remembered, but not when Lan Xing is calling them like this as if he's naming them as his targets to be killed. "You." He called the hiding female employee.

"Y-yes!" she said and immediately knelt before Lan Xing and cried. "I-I'm really sorry for earlier, sir!" she said.

Lan Xing looked like he was disgusted. One of the male employees was scared Lan Xing would kick her at any second and he immediately pulled her. Which was right, since he didn't thought wrong. Lan Xing really tried to kick her.

The customers gasped in shock and one of the employees cut a customer's hair wrong. But, nobody dared to speak in fear Lan Xing would hit them next. They remembered, Lan Xing has a bad temper. Wasn't someone had committed suicide because of him? They can see now how bad his temper is.

"You." Lan Xing called the male employee who pulled the female employee that was silently crying now. She feared Lan Xing would land his shoe on her if she dared cry loudly again.

"Y-yes, sir?" the male employee answered and was slightly shaking in fear.

"What is good to eat after your hair is cut?" Lan Xing asked.

"E-eh?" the employee was confused. But, nonetheless, he answered. "C-corn?" he said.

Lan Xing's brows raised but he didn't comment. "Call the driver outside." He said.

"Y-yes!" the male employee sighed in relief as if he was given amnesty. He immediately run to find which driver was it, but there's no need to since the driver immediately went inside and walked towards Lan Xing.

"Sir, you called." The driver respectfully bowed. He has been watching since earlier.

"Buy us the best buttered corn." Lan Xing told him.

"Yes, sir." The driver is smart enough to buy for two. He immediately left and drove to the nearest store to buy, then immediately came back.

The male employee was puzzled. It's my girlfriend and I who'd eat corn. But, this small boss's company earlier is a man?

(A/N: now I suddenly craved for corns... Lan Xing, though... O.O)
