"Ah! Look!" Ji Yang said and pointed. "Someone arrived!" he said.

They turned and saw a taxi stopped in front of the dormitory. "It's Hong Yue and Lan Xing!" He Ying said. "Huh? Something's wrong?" she said when she saw the two just stood in front of the dormitory while the taxi already left.

"What's that broken thing on Lan Xing's hands?" Luo Ying asked.

"A... hover board?" Wei Wei said.

"That hover board looked familiar." Yu An said as she adjusted her eyeglasses which the lenses flashed when hit by the light.

The five of them continued to hide and watched their Celestial CP who, right now, is enveloped by tension.

"Lan Xing..." Hong Yue called.

Lan Xing's expression is dark, but he managed to calm himself. "Sorry." He apologized.

"Huh?"

"You have to see me..." Lan Xing said and didn't continue.

Hong Yue stared at him before he smiled. "I was really surprised back there." He told him. "However, I wasn't scared." He said.

"Really?" Lan Xing asked as he looked at Hong Yue's clear eyes behind the lenses.

"Really." Hong Yue nodded. After all, I have a worse temper than you. He thought when he remembered he had beaten up Huang Anyi before when Huang Anyi distracted him while he was writing.

Lan Xing stared at Hong Yue for a long time, trying to see if he was lying.

Hong Yue was pulled from his thoughts when he felt his body was pulled. His pupils shrank and was about to strike back when he felt a warm embrace. Ah. He thought when he recognized the familiar warmth. It's Lan Xing. Lan Xing was hugging him.

"Thank you." Lan Xing said. Thank you for not being scared, since I do not know what would I have done more if you have been scared off by me. He thought when he remembered what happened earlier.

He and Hong Yue had just left the restaurant when he received a message from the taxi driver apologizing he was delayed. He had to send his daughter to the hospital since she had caught a fever. Lan Xing said he didn't mind and they waited outside the restaurant for the driver to come.

"Lan Xing..." Hong Yue called when his lips trembled. He pursed his lips to not show he is scared.

"Don't worry. The driver won't deceive us." Lan Xing said.

That's not I am worried for! Hong Yue thought, but he nonetheless endured the fear creeping in his body just as he thought of seeing a hover board again. Not long after and the hover board arrived.

"Are you free? We need you to take us back to the Shuihua University." Lan Xing told the driver who gave the hover board to Lan Xing.

"Yes!" the driver nodded. Whew! Fortunately, I have these rich bosses. They might give me a tip again. He thought.

Lan Xing turned to Hong Yue, only to see Hong Yue looked deathly pale. "Hong Yue?" he called. "What's wrong?" he asked and grabbed Hong Yue's hand, only to feel it is cold. "Hong Yue?" he called again.

"I – " Hong Yue said as he tried his best not to look at the hover board. His heart is beating wildly and he's sweating heavily. "I... have used a hover board before." He said, his voice and body is shaking. "The... that... it malfunctioned." He lowered his head to avoid Lan Xing's gaze, so he didn't see Lan Xing's face immediately darkened. "I... had an accident... and was dragged under the car... for a few meters... and was hospitalized – " his teeth is chattering and his body started to turn cold.

Suddenly, he heard a loud crash. He forced himself to turn, only to see the hover board was split into two and its pieces scattered on the street.

His eyes widened in shock. "L – Lan Xing!" he cried in fright as he looked at Lan Xing, only to freeze when he saw his cold eyes. "Lan Xing...?" he called.

The taxi driver didn't dare breathe, either. The restaurant's glass wall, where the expensive-looking hover board was thrown, broke! Oh, my god! He exclaimed as he stepped back, only to be sharply glared at by Lan Xing.

However, Hong Yue surprisingly wasn't afraid of Lan Xing and he grabbed Lan Xing's hands to appease him. "I – I'm fine now, see?" he told him. "That was in the past... it already happened. There's no need to make a fuss now – " he said as if he was placating a child having a tantrum.

"... really?" Lan Xing said as he looked at Hong Yue. Seeing there's no fear in Hong Yue's eyes as he looked at him, his anger decreased.

"Yes. I'm alright now." Hong Yue told Lan Xing as he repeatedly nodded.

"How about the company that made that junk of a hover board?" Lan Xing asked.

"They're gone. They're gone." Hong Yue answered and smiled. How can they not be gone? Song Xuqi and Huang Ziming crushed them.

Lan Xing saw the color on Hong Yue's face returned. He took a deep breath to calm himself before he held Hong Yue's hands tight. "Let's go back." He told him and opened the door of the taxi.

Hong Yue nodded. "Okay." He went inside the car, then Lan Xing followed.

"Boss!" the restaurant's employees called.

"Pick up the pieces and place them on the back of the car." Lan Xing told his employees.

"Yes!" the employees answered and helps the taxi driver.

Lan Xing gave the taxi driver a bill and the taxi driver sent them to the university.

Hong Yue, whose face pasted on Lan Xing's chest, could feel the vibrations on Lan Xing's chest as he breathed. He could also hear Lan Xing's heart thumping loudly. "Ge." He called. "I'm already okay. Really." He said when he felt Lan Xing's body is trembling. How did this happen? He thought. We've just known each other for only a week, yet we act like we're... he closed his eyes as he hugged Lan Xing back. Brothers. He thought as his face was covered in black lines. We're brothers. We're brothers. We're only brothers! He shook his head as he denied the strange thought that's trying to invade his mind. "Ge." He called when he felt Lan Xing finally stopped trembling.

"Hm?" Lan Xing answered.

"... can we go inside now?" Hong Yue asked.

Lan Xing who was about to pat Hong Yue's head. "... okay." He said and reluctantly let go of Hong Yue. "What should we do with this junk?" he asked and looked at the broken hover board.

"Sell it to junk shop, I guess." Hong Yue answered.

He Ying and the others who finally recognized the hover board being auctioned in billions. "..." junk shop?! They thought as they stared at Hong Yue in disbelief.

"Okay. I'll have the taxi driver sell this. It can help him pay for the hospital expenses of his daughter." Lan Xing said as he and Hong Yue boarded the elevator.

"..." HEY! The five people said and watched Lan Xing and Hong Yue disappear from their sight. "Is this okay? That hover board is worth billions!" they said.

"Guys..." Yu An called. "We still haven't made an evidence of the CP." She reminded them.

"..." damn it!

(A/N: this CP... *sighs they're both pitiful.)
