Chapter 37: Friendship makes you brothers and sisters to each other.

"Hey, did you hear?! Jin Yian will also be here! She is invited to perform today for the opening day of Dawn Amusement Park!" one of the people walking around the Dawn Amusement Park said, looking very excited. They are actually already excited since they finally entered the amusement park.

But, thinking that their idol, their goddess Jin Yian will be here, too, and would also perform, they became more excited!

"Also, this event is for the amusement park itself to mark its opening for business." The girl continued. "If today will only focus on the goddess, then wouldn't this turn into the goddess's concert?" she said.

"You are right." Her friend agreed, now feeling comforted. "Then, aren't we very lucky to know about this, and be here today?!" she said.

"Yes! So be thankful that I managed to obtain two tickets!" the girl said as she raised her nose in the air.

"AAAAHHH! Thank you, sis! We will forever be sisters!" her friend said and hugged the girl tightly.

"Of course!" the girl nodded and grinned.

"Wait, how did you know about this?!" her friend asked.

"I heard it earlier when I bought us drinks while you lined up to buy us tickets!" the girl answered.

Hong Yue saw this while he waited for Lan Xing inside the small car. He felt surprised. "So Anyi will be here?" he muttered.

'Jin Yian' is Huang Anyi's stage name as an idol actress. The Huang family's business involves the entertainment world raging from the movies and television, to music and even literature. After all, online novels can also be adapted to donghua (anime/cartoon) and even movie or TV drama. Just like the Rainbow in the Shade of the Leaves, simply 'Rainbow Leaf' or 'Hong Ye', which is homophones to the pen name that Hong Yue is using – 'Scarlet Night', the author of the said novel.

Since her family has already an entertainment company, Huang Anyi simply worked under her family's company. She naturally has a talent in singing and dancing, as well as acting so she didn't become an idol actress just on a whim.

"Hong Yue?" Lan Xing called when he saw that Hong Yue is absent-minded. His voice pulled Hong Yue from his thought.

"Ah, yes. I heard it from the manager earlier that they invited an idol to perform today as a celebration for the first day of opening of the amusement park." Lan Xing explained as he entered the car and started to drive. "Do you want to watch it?" he asked Hong Yue. He recalled that otaku (anime geek) would regard idols as their goddesses.

But, Hong Yue's response was unexpected. "You... do you remember Anyi?" he asked Lan Xing. "Huang Anyi. You met her before at school, along with Song Xuqi – the butler." He told him.

Lan Xing nodded. "It turned out that she is uncle Huang's daughter." He muttered. His father called him before about Hong Yue being the godson of the Huang family and Huang Anyi's fiancé. So, Zhou Tianshan told Lan Xing to not fall for Hong Yue. But Lan Xing just ended the call.

Huang Ziming being overprotective of his only child and daughter is well-known in the wealthy circle and it is similar to Zhou Tianshan's overprotectiveness of Lan Xing. Surprisingly, the two people are like oil and water that do not mix.

"Yes. You... don't tell anyone about this, but – " Hong Yue leaned to whisper to Lan Xing. " – Anyi is Jin Yian... the popular idol that can also act." He told Lan Xing.

Lan Xing who is driving was surprised. But, his hands are steady so their car drover smoothly between the people. After all, there is also a driving lane inside the amusement park like the Haifeng mall so no one would be hit by the small cars or any accidents to happen.

"I didn't know." Lan Xing said. He was never interested in the entertainment industry even if his mother was once a famous actress.

When Lan Meiying died, her fans grieved and accused Zhou Tianshan, blaming him for cheating on his wife, etc. The stocks of the Zhou Group dropped due to that, but Zhou Tianshan has already expected that would happen since he knows the impact of Lan Meiying's death. "Now you know." Hong Yue smiled.

Hong Yue nodded. "Thank you." He said, feeling grateful for Lan Xing. Lan Xing is really a good guy!

"You're welcome." Lan Xing smiled, feeling happy to see that Hong Yue cheered up. "After we eat, which rides do you want us to play first?" he asked Hong Yue.

"Not the haunted house." Hong Yue immediately answered. Not that he is afraid of ghosts, but because –

"I understand." Lan Xing said and crossed the haunted house on their list. The haunted house requires people to walk, and Hong Yue, being the lazy person that he is, naturally doesn't want to walk. "Then let's try the roller coaster?" he asked. But, before Hong Yue could answer, he shook his head. "Not this, either. It is too stimulating. This will just make us dizzy." He said and crossed out the roller coaster and other stimulating rides.

Hong Yue watched Lan Xing ponder and a sweet smile appeared on his lips.
