Dancing after dinner had basically become my personal cardio session, and today was no exception. I cranked up the speaker and got into full performance mode.

"YOU CAN'T STOP ME LOVING MYSELF!
OH, OH UOH (HEY!), OH OH UOH UOH...!"

My hair was tied up in a ponytail, swinging with every spin, and my skin-tight workout clothes hugged my curves like they were trying to hold on for dear life. I was in my own world, belting out lyrics and dancing like I was at a k-pop concert—zero cares for the outside world.

I was halfway through my killer dance routine (if I do say so myself) when a knock on the door broke my flow.

Jimin peeked in, looking half-amused, half-exasperated. "Jill, you're so loud! Are you done yet?"

Still out of breath, I shot him a look. "Excuse me? I'm in the middle of my world tour, Jimin! You can't just barge in like that."

He rolled his eyes, leaning against the doorframe. "World tour, huh? More like a neighborhood noise complaint waiting to happen."

I smirked and dramatically flipped my ponytail. "If the neighbors can't handle art, that's on them."

He sighed, clearly holding back a smile. "I'm just saying... for someone who's trying to 'burn calories,' you're more likely burning your voice box at this point."

I paused, hands on my hips, panting slightly. "It's called multi-tasking, okay? Vocal exercise and dance workout. It's the secret to greatness."

Jimin chuckled. "Yeah, well, your 'greatness' is about to get us evicted. So maybe... tone it down a bit? You've got, like, 15 minutes before we all go deaf."

I rolled my eyes. "Fine, fine, 10 more minutes and I'll gracefully retire from the stage."

He smirked, walking out the door. "Great. Let me know when you're selling tickets to this 'world tour.'"

As soon as he was gone, I cranked the volume back up.

"YOU CAN'T STOP ME LOVING MYSELF!"

The world needed this concert, even if the world was just me and my reflection.

After cooling off with a shower, we settled down on my bed, as we did every night.

"So, how was your day?" Jimin asked, starting our usual bedtime chat.

This was our nightly ritual—talking through our day before going to sleep. We shared everything, from our happy moments to our frustrations, and it always helped us de-stress or even come up with solutions to any problems. Jimin was the one person I trusted with everything. He always seemed to know how to make things better.

"Everything was pretty normal, except..." I began.

"What? Did someone bother you?" Jimin's protective mode kicked in instantly.
