Mario: Peach, how are you a-doing?

Peach: Hello, Mario. I'm doing just fine. Is something the matter?

Mario: I just want to a-check on you if you're doing ok. I saw your match with Bowser earlier today. He didn't cause any a-trouble with you?

Peach: Oh Mario... I'm doing alright. *giggle* It was actually a pretty fun match. I don't know if Bowser was holding back or not, but he was such a gentleman to me when I won. It was honestly sweet of him. *giggle*

Mario: Oh. So he didn't harm you or anything?

Peach: Yeah, Mario. Don't worry, he can't kidnap me in this place. If he did, he'll end up getting in trouble with the Hands for bringing serious harm to anyone. So it's nothing to worry, Mario.

Mario: I know. It's a-just...Bowser...being...a gentleman with you? I don't a-know, every time I see a-him during my adventures to save a-you, he's been very a-fierce in our fights. I can't imagine him being a gentleman with you.

Peach: Actually...he has been such a gentleman to me ever since. While it was just me and him while I was in cage, he would give me food whenever I grow hungry. And then one time, when he kidnapped me just so we can be married against my will, he got me flowers. Well, not exactly flowers, but small Piranha Plants.

Mario: PIRANHA PLANTS?! They didn't bite you, did they?

Peach: No, actually. When I petted them, they purred as if they're little kittens, they were so affectionate. To be honest, it was really cute. *giggle* The one time I actually enjoy having Piranha Plants and it warms Bowser's heart.

Mario: Huh?! Warms Bowser's heart?! You can't be a-serious!

Peach: I'm being really honest about him, Mario. While Bowser is still being troublesome by constantly kidnapping me, there were honestly times I feel touched by Bowser's considerate actions. Although I do wish he was considerate enough to lay off the kidnappings.

Mario: For such a sweet and kind lady, I honestly don't believe what you're a-saying. Bowser's really mean! Hearing this from you sounds wrong in so many a-ways! He's done so many a-horrible a-things! Do you actually enjoy getting a-kidnapped all the time?

Peach: Of course not, Mario. None of those justify Bowser's constant kidnapping attempts. I get pretty annoyed by them at this point. I'm really working around in making sure I don't easily get kidnapped, but Bowser somehow manages to find a way. But what I'm trying to say is that Bowser may be such a big meanie, but he has quite a heart. I'm sure you see that, Mario. Especially with how Bowser cares for his son so much.

Mario: Of course I do. I just-

Peach: Then don't worry whenever I'm alone with Bowser while we're still here. Bowser respects the rules here, especially knowing he'll get in a much worse trouble than whenever he deals with you.

Mario: I get a-you! It's just...the way you talk about how good Bowser can be at times. Do you actually a-love him?

Peach: What? No! Not when he still keeps kidnapping me and not learning how you should give people space. Mario, what is with these questions?

Mario: I...er...Um...

Peach: Mario... Are you jealous of Bowser?

Mario: N-N-No, princess. I'm not jealous of Bowser. What would make you a-think that?

Peach: Well, with the reactions, the questions, and feelings regarding Bowser... And after we manage to barely escape from the collapsing underground caverns of the moon... When you and Bowser fought over me...pettily...

Mario: P-Peach, I-

Peach: *sigh* Mario, do you still not get why I put my foot down and rejected both of you?

Mario: I don't understand. I have always been a-there for you and always make sure you're a-safe. I have always been a-saving you, Peach. Why?

Peach: Honestly, Mario... I have some reasons why I have to reject you. While I felt touched that you were about to propose to me after saving me, it felt that everything's happening so fast. At first, I actually did consider your proposal... Thinking about everything you have done for me, especially saving me countless times. I thought you're so noble seeing all you have done for the people who are in need. But then, when Bowser suddenly interrupted you and started pushing flowers in front of me, I thought you'd be so thoughtful enough to push Bowser off me and get us home right away, especially cause my entire experience in this nth adventure was honestly dizzying and I honestly just want to go home and relax from all this mayhem at this point. Instead, you also started being pushy with me. You ended up being no different than Bowser... Do you have any idea how stressful it was for me that I was held captive for how many days, invading different kingdoms just so Bowser can satisfy me, which none of them really do cause he's hurting everyone, and then after barely escaping you two decided to have a petty fight for my love right in my FACE?!

Mario: ...

Peach: I was really angry, Mario. I would've slapped the both of you hard so badly and then leave the both of you on the moon. You were very inconsiderate of how I was feeling. It aches my heart to see you do this to me. You never even gave me the time to think about your proposal.

Mario: Peach, I...I have no idea... I...I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you like a-that... I...I honestly don't know what came a-over me.

Peach: It's alright, I'm just glad you understand now... And it's already in the past... Although... Even if I did have the time to think about it... I...still would have to reject you... I know you've been such a sweet and good person, in fact I really do love you for being there for me. It's just being married takes a lot of responsibilities and I already have a big responsibility that I still feel that I have not taken under control until now, which is being the princess and ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. I don't feel ready to handle more stress from being a wife and a princess, especially when I'm still prone to getting kidnapped countless times. I don't want to be a burden to you to the point you'll get burned out and give up. In fact, I don't want to be a burden to everyone.

Mario: Of course, you're not a-burden, Peach. I still love you, no matter a-what. Don't let your a-thoughts say otherwise... But I understand that you don't feel a-ready to marry me. However, I'll always be a-there for you, Peach.

Peach: Thank you, Mario. You're really sweet, sometimes with so much I have went through, I honestly don't deserve your kindness and love...

Mario: Peach, you do. Nothing will say otherwise.

Peach: Oh, Mario... *sigh* Alright... Thank you...

Mario: You're a-welcome, my princess.

Peach: Mario, when everything is peaceful and no troubles... When there's nothing that can put us in danger anymore... Let's be together?

Mario: Is this a proposal?

Peach: Maybe. *giggles*

Mario: Yes. When there's no more a-trouble that brings harm to the Mushroom Kingdom, we can be a-together.

Peach: Then, it's settled. Promise to always be there for me, Mario?

Mario: Always, my love.
