Kisses & Phone Calls

(Brittany's POV)

The entire group and myself are sitting in Puck and Finn's room. Well, everyone besides Santana and Quinn, who went to go get Dani and her friends from the lobby. Sugar's birthday celebration last night was one of the worst nights of my life. Santana and I didn't talk all day today and I hate that. I miss her. I hate that she's upset with me. During the day today, we all kinda split into a bunch of little groups to do different things. Some of the group did what we normally do during the day and hangout at the pool, some went to the beach, some went to the gym, some slept in and some went shopping at a mall close by. I stayed at the pool because it's kinda in the middle of everything and I was hoping to see Santana, but I never did. Until now.

She walked in the room with Quinn, Dani, and Dani's friends following close behind. As usual, she looked beautiful and I wish I could tell her that. Her outfit was simple, light blue jeans and a cropped black hoodie, but still she looked amazing. She always does. I took a minute to look at Dani. She's really pretty. I sighed and looked back to Santana who was laughing at something one of Dani's friends said.

"Guys," Santana says. "This is Dani, and this is Lauren, Jane, Bree and Penny." Santana looked around at everyone in the room besides me. I didn't expect her to talk to me tonight but I didn't expect her to not even look at me. Ugh god I just wish last night never happened.

After everyone said their hello's most of the group started drinking. I was one of the people who didn't. I kinda just wandered around, talking to my friends here and there but always glancing at Santana. She had been drinking but she wasn't drunk.

I was mid conversation with Marley when a tipsy Artie shouts "Who's down for spin the bottle round 2?!"

Almost everyone cheered so clearly, most people wanted to play. I didn't. I didn't want Santana to either but I can't tell her what to do. It's just a game and I know that. It doesn't count as cheating or anything. Last time we played, Mike and Tina and Kurt and Blaine played and kissed other people even though they're together. But I still didn't want to see Santana kiss other people... which made me realize how terrible she must have felt last night.

Puck and Ryder moved the couches off to the sides so everyone could sit in a big circle. Everyone was playing besides me, Kurt, Blaine and Unique. The three of them were sitting on one of the couches off to the side to watch, so I joined them and asked "Why aren't you guys playing?"

"Not my thing." Unique says.

"I'm sober, and therefore have no desire to kiss anyone in that circle. No offense to them of course. And Blaine isn't playing because I made him." Kurt answers.

"What about you?" Blaine asks me.

"Not in the mood." I respond. They all give understanding nods.

I keep a light conversation with them and watch the game. I don't like how Santana and Dani are sitting next to each other. But I can't complain. Especially not now. And I guess if Dani helped cheer up Santana last night then I should be grateful.

Everyone giggles as Puck spins the bottle and it lands on Kitty. He gives her a little smirk, to which she smiles and rolls her eyes as she moves to meet him in the middle. They kiss for a couple seconds and then both sit back down in their spots.

Quinn is sitting next to Puck, so she spins next. It lands on Joe. The two of them innocently smile as they crawl into the middle. I glance at Santana, remembering the night at the club that time when her and I saw Quinn and Joe dancing together. But she wasn't looking back at me. After Joe and Quinn kiss, they part and join the circle again.

Sam spins it next and we all watch as it lands on Dani's friend, Penny. So the two of them move towards each other and kiss for a couple moments as some people in the group giggle.
