After the party at the orphanage, the group had their dinner together. Off and Gun opted for a bruschetta and pasta night, and The Barn was the perfect idea. Tay enjoyed his smoked salmon and capers, and the wilted spinach and mushrooms which, New, surprisingly, loved as well. New went gaga over the Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Ooey Gooey Cheesecake Batter to the point of eating up more than half of Tay's share. Of course, even the birthday boy did not complain.

When it was time to go home, New offered to bring home the cool old folks, while Tay joined Off and Gun. Tay was at the backseat looking out the open window as if taking in the sweet smell of the Baguio night air and running through his entire day in mind.

Off silently signaled Gun to play a song over Spotify, in a few, the song of Leanne and Naara, To New York and Back, started to play. The couple started humming along the song and at the same time watched for Tay's reaction through the rear mirror. They were so giddy that Tay finally took notice.

What's with the song huh? Tay asks with a smirk. You're out teasing again.

Off and Gun barked a laugh and a giggle. Nothing, I just thought we can change the lyrics and have it "to the moon and backkk", Off sings.

Tay started to laugh, you both are enjoying this very much I see. So, were you both involved in the planning?

Naaah, Gun replies. It was pretty much all his ideas. We just helped out in the food preps. Your guy surely knows how to throw a good surprise PTay. Even Papii here found it very sweet. Can I expect a surprise on my birthday too, Papii?

Okay Baby, I'll plan a surprise for you. Just act surprise on my surprise okay? Off and Gun ended up laughing hard.

You both are annoying, Tay replies with a pout.

Okay Peng seriously, you must really be very special for New to prepare that thing for you.

I... I... don't know what to say. He didn't have to bother and make a big deal out of this day.

Tay shrugs, come on guys, you're overthinking again. Anyone can throw a surprise for someone, right?

Off and Gun did not want to start an argument. They knew Tay so well so they decided not to push the conversation further. Whatever you say Peng, Off pipes in. Buutttt.... let me just tell you... we noticed something earlier... and I know you know what I mean...

Tay returns a look at Off are the rear mirror, oh yeah?

Yes Papii, we heard a hiccup, Gun replied with a soft voice leading to a soft smile.

Tay looked out the window once again, and let out a deep sigh.
