Part 15

Kageyama's Perspective:

I heard something. I really did. I hear the door open and footsteps.

Nurse: Kageyama?

Me: *opens eyes*

Everything was so blurry.

Nurse: I'm happy your awake *smiles* I'm gonna do a few tests and then you can go home

I nod still out of it. What happened? Where's Hinata? Did he leave me? No he wouldn't do that. Right? The door opens again and I look over seeing my dad. Wait where's my mom?

My Dad: Hey Tobio how are you feeling?

Me: Where's mom?

My Dad: She left for the US remember, Oh wait you probably don't remember much

Nurse: Your right, he doesn't remember anything from before the crash

Me: Where's Hinata?

My Dad:He's at school right now but he can come over later if you'd like

*an hour later*

The doctor gives me the ok to leave and go home. My dad and the doctor help me into his car since I was still pretty out of it. My dad closes the door and then hops in.

My Dad: I know that I don't live near Karasuno so you mom made me move into her old house. That way you didn't have to move all your things into my house

Me: Really?

My Dad: Yup

We drive down the street and pass Hinata's house. We get home and walk in. My dad helps me to my room where I lay there for the majority of the day. My dad did come in every now and then to check on me but besides that I was alone. I closed my eyes and fell asleep for a while. I wanted to see Hinata, did he even know I was out of the hospital? I wake up to voices. I sit up, my head hurting like hell. I get up and open my door. I head downstairs and see my dad talking to everyone from the team.

Me: What are you guys doing here?

I looked around the group to see Hinata but didn't see him.

Tadashi: We wanted to stop by and say hi to your father, we didn't know you were here

Tsukishima: We couldn't get ahold of Hinata so that's why he isn't here

I walk down the remainder of the stairs and sit down on the couch as everyone else grabs a chair. They tell me what they've been doing during practice and Daichi said I couldn't go to practice for another two months.

Me: Why not?

Daichi: You just came out of a coma not too long ago, you need to rest. You can still come and watch but if you get tempted to practice, the coach will send you home.

Me: Are you guys practicing today?

Sugawara: Yes actually we should head to the gym now. Come on everyone let's go

My Dad: Kageyama don't get tempted to practice please

Me: I won't

We all walk outside and get into a car since I couldn't really walk far. When we got there Hinata was already there and had set everything up. Everyone walked in but I stayed outside. I wasn't sure if I was ready to see him or not. I could overhear what they were saying.

Daichi: Dang Hinata you came early

Hinata: Well I'm excited to practice today so I wanted to come early

Tanaka: Let's do this little man!

Hinata: Why did you guys all show up at the same time? Where were you?

He didn't know I was home?

Daichi: We were stopping by to say hello to Kageyama's dad

Hinata: Oh yeah that's right didn't he move into Kageyama's house since his mom moved or something like that

Sugawara: Yeah

Hinata: So how's Kageyama?

Sugawara: What do you mean?

Hinata: You know he has woken up yet?

Sugawara: When did you see him last?

Hinata: Two weeks ago

Nishinoya: Uh Hinata he's-

I open the doors of the gym and everyone puts their attention to me. Hinata looks at me with wide eyes and freezes. I force myself to smile.

Nishinoya: He woke up not to long ago but he just went home today

Hinata: K- Kageyama

His voice cracks.

Me: Don't make this a huge deal please

I walk over to the group. Hinata wraps his arms around me.

Once he lets go of me they all go back to practice. I sit down on the bench and watch.. They all got really good. Something had caught my eye so I looked over at the door where everyone had kept their bags and saw my hoodie half way out of Hinata's bag. Why did he still have it? I turn my attention back to their practice.
