Part 18

Hinata: *jumps*

Me: See

Hinata: Oh hey Daichi

Daichi: Maybe we shouldn't pressure Kageyama to play, I mean he isn't allowed to. You out of anyone should know that

Hinata: I- I was just-

Daichi: Doesn't matter, you know that if he even gets hit just a bit on the head that it would send him to the hospital

Hinata: Well I know that

Daichi: And you still tossed him the ball

I swear Daichi always walks in at the worst times. I wanted to toss it to him and I wanted to receive it. But part of me was saying no. Ten minutes go by and everyone shows up. Coach Ukai sits everyone down.

Coach Ukai: Kageyama's father told me that the hospital said for him not to play for the rest of the year

*everyone groans*

Coach Ukai: Luckily we have Suga who is pretty good at setting, so Hinata I want you to get used to Suga's sets

Hinata: Yes!

Coach Ukai: As for everyone else nothing really changes, now go practice

He tells them a bit more but I was zoned out. I was being replaced. I was pretty upset by it but I knew that if I could play I wouldn't be as good as them, they've been practicing so much since I was in the hospital. I watched them as they played, and coach Ukai decided to split them up and play a small game. I was watching from the bench as I saw Suga toss the ball up toward Hinata who jumped up and hit the ball straight down, gaining them a point. This went on for a while as each team kept gaining a point after another. By the end of practice both teams had continued to gain points.

Coach Ukai: Ok it's time to go home guys let's clean the gym

Hinata: Oh come on can't we finish the game?

Coach Ukai: *looks at phone* No it's already 10 you guys should've gone home hours ago

Everyone drinks some water and then goes to clean up the gym. After we all just walked home. I walked alone because why not. When I get home I grab some food and eat before walking up to my room where I see him.

Me: What are you doing in my room again!?

Hinata: I wanted-

Me: Why don't you tell me before you barge in here

* footsteps*

My Dad: Is everything ok Kageyama?

Me: Yeah everything's fine *gives Hinata a dirty look*

My Dad: Ok well I'm going to bed

I hear my dad's door shut and close my door the rest of the way. I look back at Hinata.

Hinata: You've been really mean lately *frowns* Why's that?

Me: *sits on bed* Why do you care?

Hinata: Well ever since you left the hospital you've acted differently around me, are you hiding something?

Me: Hiding something? What in the world are you talking about?

Hinata: *sits next to me* Well before you were in the hospital you were *pauses* What's the word? Oh yeah! Nicer to me? I think that's the one

Me: *confused*

Hinata: Did you hit that head of yours- Oh wait yeah you kinda did. Did you forget that we are a couple?!

Me: Shhh my dads in the other room could you maybe be a bit more quiet

Hinata: Sorry

Me: And I didn't forget that-

Hinata: Ok when you were in the hospital and I came to visit could you hear me?

Me: I mean yeah why?

Hinata: What's one thing that you remember that I said?

I paused for a second. I knew what I wanted to say but didn't know if I should or not. The one thing I remember him saying was I love you.

Hinata: Well?

Me: I remember you saying I love you or something like tha-

He springs up and hugs me tight. I tried to pry him off of me but he wouldn't budge. He positions himself on my lap facing me. He wraps his legs around my waist and buries his head into my chest. I was so confused.

Hinata: You actually heard me *sniffles* (AN: omg it's like Hinata's Deku now lmao always crying and Kageyama is Bakugo. I don't ship deku and bakugo well idk :))

Me: Are you crying?

Hinata: No!

Me: Oh my lord *rolls eyes* Could you get off of me now?

Hinata: Nope

I sat there emotionless looking at Hinata. Why was he here? How did he get in? Why is he crying? I could hear him yeah but what's the big deal? He loosens his grip and pulls away from me but is still sitting on me. I look at him with the face of "what the hell"

Hinata: *smiles*

Mood change? I don't understand this kid.

Me: Can you go home?

Hinata: You don't want me to stay with you?

Me: Not really

I shove him off of me and he lands on the bed. He looks at me confused. What did I do this time?

Hinata: *frowns* If that's what you want then I'll go home

*time 12:00pm*

That's the thing, I don't want him to leave but I'm telling him to leave. Ugh this makes no sense. He gets up and opens my door. Come on Kageyama say that you don't want him to leave just say it!

Me: Just say it!

Shit.

Hinata: Just say what?

Me: You can stay, but only if you want I mean I'm not gonna stop you if you want to leave that's up to you-

Hinata shuts the door and jumps onto my bed. We then cuddle and go to sleep.
